Dua Lipa recently confirmed the news of her engagement to fiancé Callum Turner after months of speculation over the pair’s relationship status prompted by pictures of the pop star wearing an eye-catching diamond ring. A number of photos shared to Dua’s Instagram featured the stunning, chunky gold ring which has a huge central stone – but it was only in an interview with Vogue that she formally confirmed the news.
She was first spotted wearing the ring around Christmas 2024, and she recently told Vogue that Callum had the ring specially made for her after asking the advice of her best friends and sister. She said: “It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”
The couple haven’t set a wedding date yet, with Dua saying she needs to finish her world tour – which is due to touch down in Anfield for the first of two shows tonight. Callum, who is an actor, is also currently busy filming for a role in upcoming Apple TV sci-fi series Neuromancer, adapted from William Gibson’s 1984 novel.
She said: “We’re just enjoying this period. I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I’m like, ‘Oh, what would I wear?'”
Dua told Vogue she is “obsessed” with the ring, which an industry expert has estimated to be worth around £30,000 as a bespoke creation.

Mr Stone said: “I’d estimate Dua’s ring to be worth around £30,000.”
Dua’s fiancé is best known for roles in Fantastic Beasts and Masters of the Air, and was Bafta nominated in 2020 for BBC One’s The Capture.
She told Vogue: “It’s very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever – it’s a really special feeling.”
