Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s wife expressed daily pride as they said goodbye to Goodison Park, where he played his final moments for Everton before his contract ends this season.

Despite battling injuries during turbulent times at Everton, Calvert-Lewin remained a key player in helping the club avoid relegation.

Alongside his iconic diving header that ensured safety against Crystal Palace under Frank Lampard three years ago, Calvert-Lewin also nailed a vital penalty at Leicester City under Sean Dyche a year later.

Last season, he netted crucial goals against Newcastle United, Burnley, and Liverpool, helping Everton steer clear of danger. His wife, Sandra Calvert-Lewin, a model, celebrated these milestones on Instagram, sharing a story highlighting that Dominic scored the third-highest number of Premier League goals for Everton at Goodison Park.

Sandra expressed her pride, saying: “30 goals at Goodison. Top three ever. They might not shout about it – but we’re proud every single day.”

Dominic shared an emotional tribute on Instagram with photos of his goal celebration against Crystal Palace and a nostalgic dressing room shot after being named man of the match. He wrote: “The first picture – by far my most emotional night at Goodison (Palace game), the second picture is just one from the archives and one of many.

“To be the last player to wear the number nine shirt at Goodison after so many greats before me is something that I’ll forever cherish, a pressure and a privilege. Memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you Goodison Park.”

Sandra commented on his post: “You wore it with pride. You lived it with heart. Forever proud of you.”

She also shared a longer message on her Instagram story, praising Dominic’s resilience: “I’ve seen the unseen moments – the recovery, the doubt, the strength it took to keep going.”

Sandra shared: “The world saw Dominic Calvert-Lewin the footballer. I see the man I love. And I’m endlessly proud of both.”

The couple welcomed their first child in August 2023. Last June, Dominic revealed he had proposed to Sandra.

They tied the knot in March this year in an intimate registry office ceremony, with only close friends and family present, as seen in photos shared on Instagram.

The couple beamed with happiness as they tied the knot, with Sandra captioning their photos: “Civil wedding day one,” followed by a white heart emoji.

Fans were moved to tears watching Everton men’s first team play their final match at Goodison Park. Flares lit up the stands and songs filled the air, marking the end of an era at The Grand Old Lady.

This event signals the close of a historic chapter as the men’s team prepares to move to the new Bramley Moore Dock stadium next season. Meanwhile, Everton Women will now play their home games at Goodison Park instead of Walton Hall Park.
