McFly singer Danny Jones and his wife Georgia have been spotted putting on a united front following his kiss with Maura Higgins at a BRIT Awards afterparty. The couple made their first public appearance since the incident, as they stepped out for a walk and a coffee.
A source told The Mirror: “They are clearly looking to put things behind them, and move on with their lives. It really hasn’t been a good time at all but they are very much together.” Observers noted that the pair seemed “very serious” during their outing in Richmond, south-west London, where they were seen sipping coffee and strolling across the green. However, the same source added: “They are positive people and can look to the future together. Things have been hard but they are moving forward as a couple.”

Since the footage of Danny’s kiss with Maura at 3am on March 2 surfaced, the pair have maintained a low profile. Danny and Maura, who were campmates in the I’m A Celeb jungle last year, were captured leaving the London event smiling, and another clip later showed the two at a different celebration at the Nobu Hotel in Marylebone.
It comes after Georgia ended her silence on social media by uploading an adorable snap of their seven year old son Cooper to her Instagram. Meanwhile, Danny has opted to stay quiet on the matter, reports the Mirror.
An insider confided to the Mirror that Danny’s actions have been a “slap in the face” for Georgia, 38, leading to intense crisis talks between the pair. Danny and Georgia, who was crowned Miss World, tied the knot in 2014 after first crossing paths at a Miss London event back in 2009.

She candidly discussed their love story on a podcast, acknowledging that their initial chemistry wasn’t sizzling. She confessed: “He was a bit of a d*ck, and I didn’t really like him.”
For the following year, he persisted in wooing her, she shared. “He tried for a year,” she divulged. “I do like to drop that into conversation every now and again. He wanted me for a year. I said no. I was totally chilled when we went on the date.”
She wasn’t exactly eager for the date, saying: “I didn’t really want to. My mum went, ‘Oh darling, what have you got to lose? Go on, go and enjoy yourself.'” She had hesitations, stating: “I said he’s probably going to be a bit of a top sh***er, isn’t he. I just assumed.”
“I treated him mean, kept him keen – without realising. I didn’t know I was doing that.”

The couple’s relationship blossomed, culminating in an engagement in 2013, followed by a wedding in Georgia’s hometown of Malton.
“When I saw Georgia, I couldn’t really take it. My legs shook. It was the most amazing view I’ve ever seen,” he gushed about laying eyes on her during their nuptials.
Meanwhile, Maura is reportedly “in a bad way……. and really struggling” in the wake of her ‘drunken kiss’ with Danny.

The former Love Island icon, 34, has jetted off to Los Angeles for a shoot while the scandal stirs controversy at home. Amidst trolling that soared this past week, one friend revealed to The Mirror: “Maura is a tough character but the reaction has been utterly relentless, it’s taken its toll. She has found it very difficult to navigate.
“She appreciates she is in the public eye and there is extra interest around her, but the abuse is off the charts, and people need to calm down.”
A sombre Maura was glimpsed at Los Angeles International Airport late last week. Her mate weighed in: “She is trying to treat things as business as usual, but it’s hard.”
