“Danny Dyer and Daughter Dani Wear Matching Jackets as They Work at Caravan Park for New TV Show”

Former EastEnders actor Danny Dyer has joined the management team at Priory Hill and Nutts Farm Holiday Park on the Isle of Sheppey, and was joined by his daughter Dani as he got to work

Danny Dyer, the beloved former EastEnders star, has taken on a surprising new role as he steps into the world of holiday park management. The actor is now part of the team at Priory Hill and Nutts Farm Holiday Park in Kent, inspired by his childhood memories of caravanning with his father Tony.

Danny, 47, has been spotted doing everything from tending bar to mowing the grass, all while sporting a park-branded hat and gilet, often accompanied by his daughter Dani, 28. Opening up about this exciting venture, Danny shared: “What you might not know about me is I love a caravan, and I love a caravan site. So, with my daughter Dani by my side, as the voice of reason, I’m taking charge of one. I’m chucking in a few quid, and will try and make the greatest of British holidays cool again.”

Danny and Dani Dyer have begun filming their upcoming Sky TV series, The Dyers Caravan Park

He humorously added: “Now this could be a triumph, or a complete f****** failure. But there’s only one way to find out and that’s to roll the f****** dice.”

Dani Dyer, who is also well-known for her stint on Love Island and is mum to three children, including twin daughters with footballer Jarrod Bowen, expressed her enthusiasm: “My dad wants to get involved in the caravan park and I’m all in. I love a caravan, so why not?”, reports the Mirror.

“My dad is a very friendly person – he’s good at bringing everyone in – but has he got what it takes to make a success of this? I think he has, just so long as people don’t decide to go to Magaluf.”

The results of the business venture are being filmed by award-winning production company Expectation Television for a new Sky TV series, which has been given the working title The Dyers’ Caravan Park. Hot off their success with Amazon Prime’s hit Clarkson’s Farm, which followed Jeremy Clarkson as he dived into farming, Expectation Television is capturing the Dyers’ adventure at Priory Hill and Nutts Farm Holiday Park.

Priory Hill & Nutts Farm Holiday Park, established back in 1951, nestles on Leysdown beach in Isle of Sheppey, less than 50 miles from London, where Danny grew up in Canning Town.

Complete with an on-site shop, bar, restaurant and entertainment galore – think bingo, disco, cabaret, quizzes, and even live wrestling on Sundays – it promises classic British holiday fun. There’s also an indoor swimming pool.

Filming began earlier this week and is expected to carry on until September before the release of six one-hour shows on Sky Max. Speaking about the project, Ben Wicks, creative director of entertainment at Expectation, said: “We are thrilled about working with Danny and Dani Dyer as they try to save the great British summer holiday.

Danny has been seen doing jobs around the caravan park

“Their passion for caravanning is unlimited, yet their experience of running a caravan park is extremely limited. Based on our extensive research, running a caravan park, if you don’t know what you are doing, is quite frankly a nightmare.”

Phil Edgar-Jones, Sky’s executive director of unscripted originals, said: “The great British holiday is about to get a turbo-charged makeover like never before as The Dyers’ Caravan Park prepares to open its gates. If anyone can make caravanning cool again it’s Danny and Dani, and we cannot wait to see them bring the fun.”
