Dani Dyer is reportedly joining the upcoming season of Strictly Come Dancing, just days after her glamorous wedding to footballer Jarrod Bowen.
The 28-year-old, who rose to fame after winning Love Island in 2018, is said to have signed a pre-contract for the popular BBC dance competition and is currently finalizing her fee. A Strictly insider revealed that producers are excited to have her on board, calling her “bubbly, down-to-earth, and straight-talking” — the kind of personality they believe audiences will love.

Dani recently tied the knot with Jarrod Bowen in a stunning countryside wedding. The bride wore a £10,000 Suzanne Neville gown reportedly gifted by her parents, Danny and Jo. The emotional ceremony included heartfelt contributions from her family — her sister Sunnie gave a moving speech featuring a romantic Sex and the City poem, and her young children all had special roles: daughters Summer and Star were flower girls, and son Santiago, along with her brother Arty, acted as page boys.
However, the reception took a cheeky turn when guests — led by her dad Danny Dyer — belted out a racy West Ham chant: “Bowen’s on fire, and he’s sh**ing Dani Dyer,”* waving napkins and celebrating in true football fan style.

Despite the raunchy humor, Dani called it “the most perfect, special day,” sharing a video from the ceremony and photos of her holding a “Wifey For Lifey” bag. She also updated her Instagram name to Dani Dyer-Bowen, marking the start of her new chapter.
If confirmed, her upcoming appearance on Strictly would mark Dani’s first major TV project since her wedding — and with her famous dad Danny and new husband Jarrod likely cheering her on in the audience, she’s expected to be one of the season’s most talked-about contestants.
BBC and Dani’s representatives have yet to officially comment.
