Dancing On Ice Star Mollie Pearce ‘Finds Love’ on ITV Show After Split from Boyfriend

Just months after calling it quits with her former beau Max Backwell, Mollie Pearce has proudly declared she’s found a new romance – with herself!

The star who catapulted to fame following her stint on The Traitors, where she nabbed second place against champ Harry Clark, is now one of telly’s most talked-about talents.

Gracing the small screen with her bold moves on Dancing On Ice, this ex-healthcare assistant is living a whirlwind life, having graced daytime favourites like Loose Women and Lorraine. Not content with just entertaining, the 23 year old also helmed a documentary about life with a stoma for BBC One’s Morning Live.

Despite riding high on success, Mollie faced personal challenges too, parting ways in October with her long-time sweetheart Max Backwell after three years of fond memories. Reflecting on a year of growth, Mollie shares, “I’ve learned I’m a lot stronger than I thought,” recognising newfound strengths and confidence.

Though saying goodbye to her first serious relationship was tough, Mollie found solace in the non-stop pace of Dancing On Ice. “I don’t have time to think about anything like that if I’m honest, my life is just skating, eating and sleeping when I can,” Mollie reveals, thankful for the smooth split.

The skating darling appreciates the enduring friendship with Max, noting, “It was helpful that everything was amicable. We’re still friends. I have so much respect for him and vice versa.”

Mollie’s dance card is fully booked with Dancing On Ice, leaving no room for romance as she’s all about self-love at the moment. “Right now I’m just focusing on skating and taking one day at a time,” Mollie reveals.

“I’m finding love with myself! ” But she’s not dismissing the idea of joining a celeb dating show post-ice capades, playfully hinting, “Never say never! “

Training daily with her skate partner Colin Grafton has chiselled her physique, uncovering muscles she didn’t know existed and boosting her confidence to flaunt her toned figure when summer arrives.

“I’m looking forward to that summer body,” Mollie beams. “It definitely tones your legs and your core, I noticed a huge difference with my core.”

Battling through her teenage years with the autoimmune disease ulcerative colitis, Mollie underwent surgery to remove her colon and was fitted with a stoma bag at 18.

Mollie has since been competing on Dancing On Ice and has opened up on how the show helped her following her split from Max Backwell

Born without fingers on her right hand, she actively fundraises for Reach, a charity supporting kids and young adults with upper limb differences.

Now, feeling invincible from her Dancing On Ice training regime, she’s gearing up to tackle an open-water swim challenge to benefit Marie Curie.

“It’s definitely the most exercise I’ve ever done in the last couple of years,” Mollie reveals, sharing her newfound passion for fitness through her latest challenge. “I’ve always tried to go to the gym and things but this is completely different. With Dancing On Ice you use your whole body. I’m really hoping to get a skater’s bum.”

The star has not only found a new way to keep fit but also a great pal in her dance partner Colin. She gushes about their partnership: “I couldn’t have been put with someone better,” says Mollie.

“We get on really well. He’s just such a perfect balance between a coach with a friend. I couldn’t do it without him.”
