
Coronation Street’s Lucy Fallon was visibly emotional as she announced her engagement to footballer Ryan Ledson.

The actress. best known for her role as Saral-Lou Platt’s daughter Bethany Platt in the ITV soap, shared the exciting news on Sunday (November 16), revealing that her boyfriend had proposed.
The couple, who are parents to two children – Sonny and Nancy – made their relationship public in June 2021.
Their love story began during lockdown, following Lucy’s split from her ex-boyfriend Tom Leech, after they connected on the celebrity dating app, Raya.
In September 2022, the pair announced that Lucy was expecting their first child and was already five months along, reports the Manchester Evening News.

This joyous announcement followed a heartbreaking miscarriage Lucy experienced in March 2022, which she discovered during a private scan at seven weeks.
The couple later welcomed their son Sonny in February 2023, and their daughter Nancy arrived earlier this year.
Now, the pair are preparing to walk down the aisle after Ryan popped the question during Lucy’s 30th birthday celebrations.
Lucy confirmed the exciting news on Instagram, sharing a series of snaps showcasing her stunning engagement ring. In one photo, she and Ryan are seen in a selfie, with Lucy holding up her hand to the camera, her eyes brimming with tears.

Another snap shows Lucy in a restaurant, proudly displaying her dazzling engagement ring on her wedding finger as she holds up her glass.
In the caption, the soap star gushed: “Ending the birthday weekend with my best friend as a fiancé! ! ! ! I can’t wait to marry you @ryanledson8.”
The post was quickly inundated with congratulatory messages. Corrie co-star Cait Fitton, who portrays the role of Lauren Bolton, exclaimed: “Congratulations beauty one! ! ! That is amazing.”
DS Lisa Swain actress Vicky Myers also chimed in: “Congratulations to you both! What wonderful news.”
