Coleen Rooney was flooded with messages of support as she shared a sweet family update. The I’m A Celebrity runner up regularly shares updates from her happy family life on Instagram.
The 38-year-old shares four children with former Everton FC striker Wayne Rooney. It was a special day for the family as Coleen revealed their son, Kit, celebrated his ninth birthday on Friday.
The Croxteth native shared snaps alongside her son with her 1.5m Instagram followers. She captioned the post: “We love you so much, have the best time celebrating.”
Fellow I’m A Celebrity campmate, Oti Mabuse, was one of many to take to the comments after the update as she said, alongside a heart eyes emoji: “Happy birthday.”
Coleen’s two youngest sons, Kit and Cass, appeared on the ITV show in emotional scenes ahead of the final. Coleen burst into tears when she was reunited with her sons and mum, Colette, during her stint on TV’s toughest entertainment challenge.
The scene has left its mark on fans as they took to the comments after the birthday update. Sonia said: “Happy Birthday Kit have a great day. You made me cry when you went into camp to see Mum, seeing you cry when you had to leave her had me. So sweet.”
It appears Coleen threw a darts themed birthday for Kit as a number of dartboards are visible in the snaps on social media. The mum took her young sons to Alexandra Palace earlier this month to see Luke Littler’s triumph at the PDC Worlds Darts Championship.
She shared a clip after Littler sealed his win as her three youngest children, Klay, Kit and Cass celebrated while wearing replicas of The Nuke’s playing shirt. Coleen’s boys loved seeing the Warrington darts sensation’s incredible victory as she captioned the clip: “Amazing night…. kids were buzzing.”
However, Coleen was in stitches as she revealed she was soaked in beer from the jubilant crowd at the Ally Pally who couldn’t rein in their celebrations. She added: “That’s me screaming getting beer all over me.”
