Coleen Rooney has shared a “good luck” message for her children in a heartfelt post on social media. The mum of-four has put herself back in the spotlight in recent months after many years focusing on raising her children.

She appeared on hit ITV show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here last year when she was runner-up behind McFly star Danny Jones. The 39-year-old also launched her own collaboration with fitness brand Applied Nutrition earlier this year.

In a post on social media, Coleen wished her boys good luck as they returned to school after the summer break. Sharing a photo of Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass in their uniforms, she captioned the post: “The boys all ready for the new school year after a great summer!! Good luck, do your best, we love you xx.”

Taking to the comments, one follower named Madeline said: “Handsome lads … all look so smart … have fun x.” Another named Julie wrote: “All the boys look so handsome … you have a beautiful family x.”

Jackie said: “How lovely! Good luck boys…” Another fan added to the comments on social media: “All so smart! As a mum of 4 boys I know this I is no mean feat! Well done!”

It has been a busy summer for the Rooney’s as Wayne and Coleen shared snaps from a gorgeous family holiday in the sunshine. The happy couple also attended Wimbledon in July, when Coleen wowed fans in a gorgeous white dress paired with a black belt.

The family also attended one of Oasis’ legendary gigs held at Wembley Stadium last month. Sharing a snap of the boys dressed in Oasis merchandise, the mum-of-four wrote: “Oasis … Wembley…. Unbelievable.”

The family will soon be sharing more aspects of their day-to-day life as a new fly-on-the-wall documentary has been confirmed in collaboration with Disney +.

The unscripted original series is one of three new shows that has been announced recently. Others include the return of Blind Date and Jamie and Sophie: Raising Chelsea.

The show that will follow the lives of Wayne and Coleen Rooney currently has a working title of “The Rooneys” and will be produced by Lorton Entertainment and Blast Films.

Disney said the observational doc-series will feature Coleen and Wayne Rooney like “we’ve never seen them before”, along with their family and friends.

The series will have ten parts and follow Coleen as she ventures into new entrepreneurial endeavours, while Wayne swaps training for the school run. The Disney+ exclusive series will offer unprecedented access that sees the family navigating the highs and lows of everyday family life.
