Coleen Nolan has shared stunning photos as she celebrated her son’s wedding. The Loose Women panellist has had a special month with plenty of memorable moments and happy family news, from the wedding to attending a gender reveal party ahead of becoming a nan again.
The ITV star often shares updates from her personal life to social media and even uploads YouTube videos to her channel, keeping fans informed about what she gets up to when the camera isn’t rolling. Coleen has two sons Shane and Jake and a daughter named Ciara. Her eldest son Shane has a daughter named Amelia, who was born in 2016. Her other son, Jake, became a dad to a baby boy in November 2024.
Wearing a green and white dress, completed with a stunning green fascinator and bag to match for the wedding, Coleen wrote: “Yesterday my baby boy Jake married his beautiful wife Georgia. Hand on heart one of the best days of my life, watching my boy marry the love of his life, surrounded by all their family and closest friends.”
A new video from the day posted by Coleen yesterday, July 7, touched upon her feelings and pride. She shared: “There really isn’t a way to express how you feel watching your baby boy walk down the aisle and marry the love of his life, and it was possibly one of the best days of my life, I am beaming with pride.”
Aside from the wedding, Coleen has been flooded with support after sharing more family news recently. This month she revealed that she was expecting her third grandchild as her daughter, Ciara, is pregnant.
She quickly followed that up with more incredible news as eldest son, Shane Nolan, is also expecting a child with his partner Kim. The new arrival will be Shane’s second child as he is already the proud dad to a daughter named Amelia, who was born in 2016. Coleen’s other son, Jake, is also a dad.
After Ciara announced her pregnancy last week, Coleen spoke about her future plans to build her own nursery in her home to make space for her grandchildren to come and stay.
In what has been a special couple of months for Coleen, she also celebrated a milestone of her own as she turned 60 in March. To mark the big birthday, fellow Loose Women co-stars Kaye Adams, Jane Moore and Judi Love sneaked her friends and three children into the studio.
The moment proved to be overwhelming for Coleen as she burst into tears and admitted that the reunion was ‘too emotional’. Walking into the studio, Coleen was blindfolded just moments before she was surprised by her sons Jake Roche, Shane Nolan and daughter Ciara Fensome.
The presenter couldn’t contain her emotions as she shared her excitement on having all her children in the studio for the first time. With tears running down her face, Coleen ran straight to her children and asked: “Oh my God! Is this why I’ve been kept prisoner all day?”
She continued: “So far, I’ve had the worst day of my life. They literally locked me in the dressing room. This was a genuine surprise. Gosh it’s too emotional.”
When asked how she felt about turning 60, Coleen went on to say: “I feel great about turning 60. I still feel age is just a number and in my head I am 21/22 and in my body I’m 70 but we will ignore that.”
