Coleen Nolan couldn’t hide her joy as she introduced her newborn grandson to the world, calling him “beautiful” and “a gift” in a touching message on social media.
The Loose Women star, 60, took to Facebook to share the first photos of baby Sidney Ray Innes, born on October 29 at a healthy 9lb 10oz. Her daughter Ciara Fensome welcomed her first child with fiancé Maxx Innes, just a year after their engagement in Vietnam.

Coleen wrote: “I’m almost lost for words – which is very unlike me – and I can barely describe the unbelievable range of emotions I’m feeling right now. Love, pride, relief, happiness… because here he is, my beautiful baby grandson Sidney Ray Innes.”
She also joked about being part of the pregnancy journey “apart from the haemorrhoids”, adding that Ciara and Max were already “taking to parenting like ducks to water.”

The new mum Ciara shared her own heartfelt post: “So proud of all three of us. I have carried him for nine months but @maxkerrinnes, you have carried us all this whole time.”
Big brother Shane Nolan also celebrated the news, calling his sister “the best mum” and joking about being made an uncle again.
This marks Coleen’s third grandchild — she’s already “Nanny Col” to Shane Jr’s daughter Amelia, born in 2016, and to Jake’s baby boy, born last year.

Looking back on Ciara’s love story, Coleen previously admitted she had doubts when her daughter started dating Max, who played guitar in Shane’s band. “She came out and said, ‘Mum, I might have to kiss the guitarist, he’s very attractive,’” Coleen recalled on her Loose Women: Just Between Us podcast. “And I remember saying, ‘Oh no, please not another musician — I’ve just divorced one!’”

But the star now praises Max as “absolutely brilliant”, calling him the perfect match for her daughter.
