Chloe Grace Moretz has seemingly announced news of her engagement to girlfriend Kate Harrison as the pair boasted matching diamond rings. The couple have been romantically linked since 2018 and confirmed their relationship three years later.
The actress, 27, took to Instagram on New Year’s Day with a recap of 2024, with one photo hinting that she was engaged to her model girlfriend. Accompanying a series of snaps from throughout the year, Chloe penned: “Happiest New Year [love heart emoji] so thankful for what this year has brought. The people, the places, our families, our health, our love. Wishing all of you a peaceful start to this new year.”
Towards the end of the photo gallery, Chloe shared a snap from a day at the beach as she held up her hand with Kate’s as they both donned matching rings on the fourth finger on their left hands. While the 27 year old didn’t mention anything about an engagement and is yet to confirm the news, the photo has sparked excitement among fans as they flooded to the comments.
One wrote: “oh my god congratulations for your engagement ??? and happy new year.” A second said: “Cutest couple everrrrr, congratulations on the engagement!!”
A third commented: “Congrats on the engagement.” Another gushed: “Love the rings! You and Kate are 100% meant to be soulmates.”
Further congratulations followed as one more shared: “Happy New Year and congratulations! I’m so happy for you guys! Such a great way to begin the new year!.” While another added: “Can’t wait for 2025!!!!!!”
The couple first sparked engagement rumours in April when they were spotted wearing the matching rings during a trip to Disneyland in California. However, the latest photo is the first time they’ve publically shared a snap of their rings, which hints at a potential and subtle engagement announcement.

The actress and model were first linked romantically in December 2018 after they were spotted sharing a kiss at dinner in Nobu, Malibu. Three years later, the Kick-Ass star finally confirmed she was “in a long-term relationship”.
Speaking to The I Paper in November 2022, Chloe shared: “I like to keep my private life private. And I really enjoy that.” The couple then made their relationship Instagram on Valentine’s Day last year.
Kate publically wished Chloe a “Happy Valentine’s Day” alongside a sweet photo of the pair. Affirming their love, Chloe reshared the photo on her own Instagram Stories and they’ve since kept a relatively low profile when it comes to their relationship.
