Celebrity Big Brother fans were left rolling their eyes during Thursday’s show, which kicked off with a preview of the drama to unfold later on.
Emotions ran high as finalists received heartfelt letters from their loved ones, with Donna Preston spotted weeping and JoJo Siwa being consoled by a fellow housemate.
Yet, some viewers couldn’t help but scratch their heads over the fuss about getting letters, especially as the contestants are due to leave imminently.
Tweets came pouring in as one viewer pointed out: “Letters from home are so dramatic.. have these people never been on holiday for a few weeks without seeing their family.”
Another chimed in, questioning the need for such an episode, commenting: “Why even bother wasting an episode on letters from home? They’ve been gone three weeks, and get out tomorrow??”

One person demanded: “They need to scrap letters from home. It’s not I’m a Celeb.”
The confusion continued with someone else tweeting: “Surely letters from home should have been last week? They are seeing them tomorrow, ffs.”
Another fan vented: “Letters from home is literally the WORST episode in any reality TV show! You’ve been away for 3 weeks…why are you crying.”

However, among the critics, there were those who looked forward to the segment, with one appreciative viewer commenting: “I might be the only person who actually likes letters from home. Even after just under 3 weeks.”
A sneak peek from Celebrity Big Brother’s official X account has captured an emotional moment for the housemates as they receive heartfelt letters, reports Bristol Live.
The snippet shows JoJo reading from Chris Hughes’ letter, stating: “You’ve always been a sensitive soul and this has become apparent when you broke down in the Dairy Room.”

Additionally, Danny is visibly moved to tears while reading Chesney Hawkes’ letter, choking back emotions to say: “I’ll reserve our seat by the fire so you can tell me all about it.”
The anticipation builds as Thursday marks the second-to-last episode, and by Friday night, ITV viewers will discover which of the remaining contestants – Donna Preston, JoJo Siwa, Danny Beard, Jack P. Shepherd, Chesney Hawkes, or Chris Hughes – will be crowned the winner.
