Celebrity Big Brother is in full swing on ITV – and fans have noticed that former EastEnders star Patsy Palmer seems to be giving one housemate the cold shoulder.
The actress, whose real name is Julie, has been keeping a low profile in the house during this 2025 season of the show. However, viewers have picked up on some subtle signs that she’s not too keen on fellow housemate Mickey Rourke.
The 72-year-old actor has already stirred up controversy with his inappropriate comments towards Jojo Siwa. One fan, Jack Thompson, took to Twitter to say: “I would be 100% satisfied if #CelebrityBigBrother was just an hour-long edit of Patsy Palmer giving Mickey Rourke dirty looks. #CBBUK”.
Mickey’s behaviour in the house has raised eyebrows, with accusations of homophobia and fatphobia. Many viewers have called for him to be “instantly removed” following a conversation with Jojo, where the 21-year-old Dance Moms star remained composed and even tried to educate him later.
In a shocking moment, Mickey asked JoJo: “Do you like girls or boys?” After she revealed that her partner is non-binary, Mickey responded: “If I stay longer than four days, you won’t be gay anymore”. He later asked Chris Hughes about the voting process, saying: “I’m going to vote the lesbian out real quick”.
JoJo, who was within earshot, couldn’t hold back: “That’s homophobic if that was your reasoning,” prompting Chris to step in and clarify to Mickey that such remarks weren’t okay.
The smoking area became a sudden need for Mickey, who blurted out: “I need a f*g” and then pointedly told JoJo, “I’m not talking to you”.
This tense exchange led to an emotional chat where Jojo cried and said she appreciated Chris for being such a supportive ally.
Jojo managed to turn the tables on opening night in Big Brother. Along with Mickey and Chris, she entered the Prize Room facing three pivotal choices: immunity for self-protection, a guardian angel to pass on immunity, or a killer nomination putting another housemate in jeopardy.
JoJo, armed with a killer nomination, selected Mickey, who had continued to show insensitivity by repeating offensive language.
The atmosphere in the house was palpable as discussions brewed about Patsy’s piercing glares toward Mickey. Someone chimed, “You can feel it in the air. It’s coming… she’s gonna go full-on Bianca mode!”
Another gleefully anticipated the confrontation: “She’s going to lose her s*** with him, and it will be glorious,”.
