Celebrity Big Brother viewers were taken aback as they were convinced ITV let slip a twist at the end of tonight’s episode. Monday’s edition of ITV’s reboot of the classic reality show explored the fallout after Mickey Rourke’s exit.
The Hollywood actor was axed from the show after Big Brother deemed his language and behaviour as “seriously unacceptable”. The 72-year-old was included at the beginning of tonight’s episode as he reflected on his stint on the show.
He said: “I blame myself, I know it was my bad. You know, I’ve got a short fuse and I know I upset a lot of people out there, you know. And I’m sorry for that.
Tonight’s episode saw the remaining cast nominate who will be next up for eviction. However, viewers were convinced ITV let slip a spoiler and they showed something fans weren’t meant to see as it was visible some stars had a “nominated” caption underneath their image.
Viewers were torn on whether Trisha Goddard, Patsy Palmer and Ella Rae Wise were up for eviction. Kyra said: “They just leaked Trisha and Ella are up for eviction”
Joe commented: “WAITTTTT am I the only one who saw Ella and Trisha nominated??? in the picture next to Mickey?” Adam posted: “Nice spoiler in the intro of whose nominated.”
@supertv posted: “They just spoiled nominations with a close up of Mickey’s face on the screen surrounded by the nominated celebrities”
Stuart said: “Did we all spot in the pre-titles that when they showed Mikey’s black and white portrait. That Patsy and Trisha were labelled nominated.”
Hosts Will Best and AJ Odudu have returned to front this season and have welcomed a host of famous faces on to the show. The house has moved location this year and host Will has revealed it will also look different.
The remaining line-up includes Danny Beard, Jack P Shepherd, Chris Hughes, Chesney Hawkes, Trisha Goddard, Patsy Palmer, Ella Rae Wise, Jojo Siwa, Olympian Daley Thompson, comedian Donna Preston and former Martin Lewis Money show co-host, Angellica Bell.
