Celebrity Big Brother fans were left speechless as JoJo Siwa revealed her ‘gorgeous’ real name on Thursday’s show.
During the latest instalment, JoJo, 21, opened up to fellow housemate Ella Rae Wise, where she shared her true moniker.
The singer and dancer said: “I love having a partner but like I wish nobody knew. I wish I was better at keeping it private.
“I separate my life into two people, right? JoJo and Joelle. Typically when I date somebody, they start to really get to know Joelle, right?
“But they’re both always present at all times. Right now, I’m Joelle but JoJo is still here, you know what I mean? Joelle runs JoJo!” JoJo’s real name is Joelle Joanie ‘JoJo’ Siwa.
Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to react to JoJo’s real name. One person said: “Why did it never dawn on me that her real name isn’t Jojo #cbbuk”, a different account wrote: “Jojo’s name is Joelle? This is my Patsy/Julie moment #CBBUK” while another commented: “Jojo’s real name isn’t Jojo? #CBBUK.”
Elsewhere, another tweeted: “I genuinely thought her name was just JoJo. Joelle is a gorgeous name #CBBUK”, a different viewer wrote: “Wait… JoJo’s real name is Joelle and Patsy is actually Julie?? Mind = blown. Why does #CBBUK always hit us with these identity plot twists?! #BBUK #BigBrother” while another added: “Wait so y’all didn’t know that Jojo Siwa’s real name is Joelle?! #CBBUK.”
It comes as Celebrity Big Brother announced its next nominations results with Daley Thompson and Patsy Palmer the next housemates to face the public vote on Friday’s live eviction.
Viewers saw Daley and Patsy receive the most nominations from their fellow housemates.
Daley received four nominations from Angellica Bell, Chris Hughes, Donna Preston and Patsy. Meanwhile, Patsy received five nominations from Angellica, Chris, Danny, Ella and JoJo.
The latest nominations comes as Celebrity Big Brother said goodbye to its third housemate on Tuesday night as Trisha Goddard was voted out of the iconic house.
The housemates had nominated two of their fellow contestants to face eviction on Monday night, with Jack P Shepherd, Patsy, and Trisha, 67, receiving the most nominations.
During the live eviction on Tuesday, it was announced that Trisha would be leaving the house.
Speaking to hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best, Trisha admitted to feeling “kinda sad” and “a bit sad” about her departure.
It comes as Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke left the Celebrity Big Brother house over the weekend due to “further use of inappropriate language” and “instances of unacceptable behaviour”.
On Friday, audiences saw the season’s first eviction on Celebrity Big Brother, with Michael Fabricant being the first to leave the show.
