Brooklyn Beckham shared an adorable Instagram tribute to his sister Harper on her 14th birthday today, amid his ongoing feud with his parents David and Victoria. The eldest offspring of David and Victoria, 26, took to social media to show some sibling love by posting a cute photo with his sister and his wife Nicola Peltz.
In the snap, Brooklyn is seen wearing a tuxedo while Nicola oozed elegance in a white sleeveless shirt with a bowtie. Birthday girl Harper is seen standing in the middle, beaming brightly in a pale pink dress. Brooklyn wrote: “Happy birthday harper we love u x,” also tagging Nicola, who then re-shared the post on her Instagram Story.
Despite being 12 years older, Brooklyn has always shared a special bond with Harper. However, there was said to be tension from those close to the family who were worried he wouldn’t reach out at all amid the family feud.
Sources shared their fears after both Brooklyn and Nicola failed to see Harper when they visited London in May to film an advert. The location for the shoot was said to be just over a mile from the family home.
One source said: “Brooklyn and Harper used to be inseparable. He adored her, he hopefully still does, but the problem is that Brooklyn has a track record for ignoring family birthdays now”, reports the Mirror.
“It would be devastating for Harper not to hear from him. She hasn’t done anything and she’s only 13-years-old, she is the innocent party here.”
It comes after Brooklyn missed a number of other family milestones recently. After failing to attend any of dad David’s 50th celebrations, he also publicly ignored the former footballer’s proud moment when it was announced he was being knighted.
Alongside Brooklyn’s post, David, Victoria and Romeo have also marked Harper’s birthday with sweet tributes.
Alongside a montage of throwback images and videos, Spice Girls star Victoria wrote on Instagram: “Happy birthday to my world! ! You are my everything and I’m so proud of the strong, confident, kind and talented young lady you are becoming.
“You’re my best friend and I’m so lucky I get to be your mummy. We love you so so much #HarperSeven! ! Enjoy your special day! ! Kisses @davidbeckham xxx”.
Romeo said: “Happy 14th to the most amazing human there is. Love you always and forever.”
And dad David shared his own special throwbacks, including an image of him kissing Harper as a baby. He wrote: “Happy Birthday to Daddy’s Pretty Lady.
“To the most special precious young lady who is kind and beautiful inside and out , thank you for making each day brighter for us all we love you Harpie have the best day ever. Love Daddy. #HarperSeven @victoriabeckham”.
