The Only Way is Essex is making a return to our TV screens in just a few days and fans have been left wondering if Dan and Ella are still together
The Only Way is Essex is set to return to our TV screens next week with plenty of drama on the horizon as the cast jet off to Bali.
The 35th series will mark a monumental milestone as the show celebrates 15 years on screen and continues to remain at the forefront of reality television having been streamed over 45 million times on ITVX over the last 12 months.
Viewers have been keen to find out if fellow cast members Dan Edgar and Ella Rae Wise are still together after the pair packed on the PDA during the Christmas special last year.
The pair sparked romance rumours when they headed off to Bali to film series 33 and the news shocked everyone however they went on to call time on their romance over the summer amid rumours Dan spent the night with former flame Hannah Rally while Ella was on holiday in Dubai, but rekindled things when they began filming series 34 in Cyprus.
It appears as though things seem to be heading in the right direction as the brand-new series will see the duo grow closer as their relationship flourishes.
They spent Christmas together and are happier than ever. Ella has been supporting Dan every step of the way as he competes on Dancing on Ice.
When Dan, 34, took to the ice for the first time fans were shocked to see Ella supporting him in the audience. Ella’s on-off fling with Dan was even brought up by DOI host Stephen Mulhern.
At the time, she remained tight-lipped about their relationship status, only saying one word to Stephen. The host jokingly asked Ella if she would go on a date with him if she is currently single, to which she replied: “No.”

Following a brief split from Amber Turner in 2019, Dan went on to have a fling with Chloe Sims. Their relationship caused carnage on the show and it was revealed that he was still seeing Amber in secret.
Amber and Dan then rekindled their romance and Chloe admitted that she “never wanted to speak to him ever again”
Dan and Amber announced their split in 2023 after six years together and it’s not been the easiest break-up as they faced cheating rumours and the duo had to move out of their shared home and joint custody of their dog.
