Amanda Holden exclaims ‘how dare you’ before revealing a personal confession on Britain’s Got Talent.

Amanda Holden has shared one of her Britain’s Got Talent secrets. Alongside Simon Cowell, the Heart Breakfast radio presenter is the longest-serving judge on the panel.

She has been a judge since the show launched in 2007 and over the years has seen the faces that sit beside her change plenty of times. The latest series of the talent show is well underway and viewers will watch the third semi-final of the 18th season tomorrow night.

Amanda has spoken to Capital presenter Jordan North live on air for Capital about her time being a judge on Britain’s Got Talent. Jordan asked the Everton fan a series of questions, one tough question asked was “have you ever fake cried at an act?”

The judge looked shocked after the question was asked, asking “who wrote that one? How dare you.” She said she hadn’t fake cried before but admitted to being “on the edge at all times.”

Although she did make another confession, telling the rest of the panel and listeners that she makes sure the camera picks it up when she does become emotional.

Re-enacting her thought process when cameras are rolling on Britain’s Got Talent, she said: “Wait a minute. I feel emotional, where’s camera, there’s camera five okay.” At the same time Amanda placed her head in her hands and pretended to cry.

Another question was quickly fired the way of Amanda. Sian Welby asked: “Who is harder to work with Simon Cowell or Jamie Theakston?”

Amanda added: “He is the boss, you’ve got to have a bit of respect because you know, these contracts are yearly.” Capital uploaded the clip to their Instagram page as fans shared their thoughts about the TV stars BGT admissions.

Suzy commented “She’s a total legend! I used to think she was just about how she looked but I was so wrong – she is fantastic, so funny, so self-deprecating!”

Pabz replied: “Laughing out loud in the gym to this interview. Love her”, alongside a laughing face and clapping hand emoji. Another Instagram account added “OMG I love, love, love Amanda Holden.”

Ahead of the semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent tomorrow, the show has announced that the line up will include gymnast Albert Amores, danger group Bao Cuong, musician Rumac, singer Mickey Callisto, dancing duo Harry and Lewis, vocalist Jasmine Rice and the dance group Ping Pong Pang.

Joining those above will be the band and charity group Electric Umbrella, who Simon Cowell gave an additional golden buzzer. Only two of these eight will join Olly Pearson, Stacey Leadbeatter, The Blackouts, and Vinnie McKee in the grand finale.
