Abbey Clancy admitted she started “crying” as she spoke about a recent family holiday to Verbier, Switzerland. Alongside her husband Peter Crouch, the couple host their own podcast, The Therapy Crouch. They talk about the ins and outs of their own relationship and also offer advice to listeners about their own concerns.

Abbey and Peter spoke about their first every family skiing trip, which they described as “eventful” and “chaotic.” Peter recalled one moment when his wife “freaked out.”

Abbey said: “One day I got to the top, fell off the f**king ski lift. I was lying on the floor with skiers going over my head. My guide didn’t even pick me up, and then I started crying, I took my skis off and walked about five miles down the mountain.”

The 39-year-old model went on to explain her guide wasn’t best pleased by her fall, and didn’t offer much support. The couple, who joined Ashley Cole and Sharon Canu on their break away from the UK, discussed who was the best at skiing, as Abbey revealed: “I only fell once.”

However, Crouch opened up about his experience on the slopes. The former Liverpool striker said: “I was getting so frustrated, like not being good.” He comforted his wife: “I fell off the ski lift too, did I not tell you that?” Abbey shared some photographs from the holiday in a post on Instagram. She captioned the selection of snaps: “We love skiing best people best memories.”

The couple discussed who was the “drunkest” on their mad adventure, with Peter admitting he “crowd surfed” at the ‘après ski’ bar. He even spoke about him being in a “mosh pit” while listening to a live band.

On The Therapy Crouch podcast, Abbey and Peter offer their feedback to fans who regularly send in their own relationship dilemmas. Peter popped the question in 2009 before the couple tied the knot in June 2011 in a lavish ceremony with family, friends and fellow celebs. The couple have four children, Sophia Ruby, Liberty Rose, Johnny, and Jack.

They launched the podcast two years ago and have seen remarkable success from the relatable show. It has also seen Abbey launch her own podcast, Exhibit A, where she sits down with various professionals to discuss mental health, physical health and business.
