Laura Hamilton has shared a health update after revealing she had broken out in a rash on her body. The A Place in the Sun presenter regularly shares updates to her social media pages and offers insights into her personal life outside of the Channel 4 show.
In the latest message from the TV presenter, she thanked fans for their concerns. On Instagram Laura shared a video and said: “I just wanted to send this story post out to say thank you so much to all of you who have sent me a message to check how I am after I posted about my allergic reaction over the weekend.
“I think I have something called hives which is a allergic reaction to a cleaning product. I have taking antihistamines and it is still incredibly itchy. I am going the doctors today so see why I have it or if I have it but just wanted to say thank you.”
The health update comes as Laura is in the middle of a huge project. Laura has been a part of the Channel 4 show for more than a decade since her first episode aired in February 2012.
Laura purchased a Majorcan holiday home in August 2024. She has been renovating the home and has previously spoken about “loving the process” of transforming it. The TV presenter has a separate Instagram account dedicated to her makeover process. Laura has been renovating properties since she was 19-years-old.
On Instagram, she said: “I have some news and this is something I have been wanting to share with you for some time with you but it just hasn’t felt quite right. As many of you know this time last year I brought a property in Majorca and it was a renovation project because that’s exactly what I love.
“However, things have taken a lot longer, when you’re renovating a property you’re waiting for various licences, permits and it is a slow process. The project is still very much underway it’s just taking a lot longer than I anticipated.”
In an exciting announcement, Laura told followers that over the past twelve months she has been visiting Dubai. She said: “You might have seen that from my stories and posts that I have been doing. I have been coming to Dubai for many years and when you do the job that I do you love exploring the world.”
The property expert revealed she has been spending a lot of time in Dubai over the last twelve months “seriously looking at the property market here [Dubai]”, the TV host has been speaking to different developers and investigated different areas.
Laura has two children, a son named Rocco and a daughter named Tahlia. They are often featured in Laura’s social media posts and she frequently discusses their activities and travels. Laura shares parenting duties with her ex-husband, Alex Goward.
