A Place in the Sun’s Jasmine Harman has shared a “grateful” update as she has finally “come back down to earth”. The TV host first joined the property programme in 2004 and has since appeared in more than 200 episodes.

Jasmine regularly updates fans on her life away from the cameras, much to the delight of her 227,000 followers on Instagram. From adorable selfies with her husband, to stunning sunset photos she has taken, Jasmine’s profile is filled with different insights into her day-to-day life.

Jasmine’s house-hunting skills proved to come in handy when she was looking for a home in Spain for her family. In 2023, she made her dream move away from London to sunny Estepona on Spain’s Costa del Sol.

The TV star recently launched her own series, Jasmine’s Renovation In The Sun. The programme documented exactly how Jasmine and her family purchased a rundown Spanish villa and made it their dream home.

The series was full of ups and downs, and Jasmine has now shared a heartfelt post to “thank” the people who helped her make the show a success.

Sharing a carousel of behind-the-scenes photos, Jasmine said: “Now the dust has settled, and I’ve slightly come back down to earth after the series, I’ve got a whole bunch of people I’d like to thank!

“As you can imagine, a renovation like this takes a village! There are so many people that helped us along the way. Many of whom you met in the programme, and some who quietly did their thing in the background.”So, thank you to everyone who supported us. Many are not on SM, and some I’ve already given my personal thanks to, but to the people and business below, we are so grateful for your contribution in making our house a home.”

Taking to the comments, one fan said: “Just loved the series Jasmine. You have a beautiful home and wonderful family.. and pets.”

A second said: “Fabulous programme, Jasmine loved it what a lovely family and friends you have.”

Speaking on Loose Women last month about finally taking the plunge and moving abroad, she shared: “It was a long time coming, and it came about because I was having to go away for work so frequently and leave my children and my family back at home in the UK.”

Away from the screen, Jasmine is married to Jon Boast and the couple tied the knot in 2009. They met on the set of A Place in the Sun, as Jon was the director of photography. Jon and Jasmine share a son called Albion and a daughter, Joy.

The family allowed viewers into their lives as they showed their renovation journey. However, during filming, Jon was rushed to hospital after falling ill.

In the scenes, doctors informed Jon that he had suffered a heart attack. Jasmine later shared that Jon is thankfully recovering, but admitted that the frightening incident has led her to re-evaluate her life – particularly following the loss of several close friends, including fellow A Place In The Sun host Jonnie Irwin.
