A Place in the Sun’s Jasmine Harman has shared a moving tribute to her dog, Jet. The presenter regularly shares updates to social media about her time living in Spain and her family life.
Jasmine posted photos to Instagram of her and Jet, while another showed Jet jumping for a ball mid-air. Other pictures showed the adorable pet with the Channel 4 star’s children and one of him as a puppy. The snaps were accompanied with a moving message, as Jasmine wrote: “It’s been 3 years now since our boy Jet tragically passed away.
“Jet choked on a ball whilst out on a walk with a friend and he couldn’t be saved. If you have to play ball with your dog, please get an anti-choking ball which has holes in it, so if it does get lodged in their airway, it’s not going to kill them.
“Or use a ball that’s much too big, or one with a rope on the end. There are online classes for pet first aid that are really worthwhile too. I’ve shared Jet’s Story up in the stories. Please watch and tag your doggie owner friends. If this advice can save even one dog then it’s worth the 2 seconds it takes to tag someone.” Finishing the message, Jasmine wrote: “We miss you every day Jet, see you one day. Mummy loves you.” The TV presenter first joined the show in 2004 and has appeared in over 200 episodes. She has also worked on number of BBC documentaries including Collectaholics and My Hoarder Mum and Me.
She has appeared on ITV’s This Morning and GMTV (Good Morning Britain) to present travel and lifestyle segments. Jasmine has also taken part in The Chase Celebrity Special which airs on Saturday at 5pm.

Away from the screen, Jasmine is married to Jon Boast and the couple tied the knot in 2009. They met on set of A Place in the Sun, as Jon was the director of photography. Jon and Jasmine share a son called Albion and a daughter, Joy.
After the heartfelt message about Jet, the star received messages of support. One account wrote: “Awww he was just such an amazing boy taken way too soon. Thinking of you Jetty” and a second wrote “Oh how heart breaking for you, our fur babies mean so much to us. Thank you so much for sharing.”
A third commented: “Can see the love you have for Jet and thank you for sharing. Dogs are such a special part of the family and the unconditional love is heartbreaking.”
Others replied: “Awww he was just such an amazing boy taken way too soon. Thinking of you Jetty” and “What a gorgeous boy and great you are doing all you can to prevent another tragic accident for others.”
In a recent post on Instagram, Jasmine shared a selection of snaps with her husband as they celebrated 16 years together. She captioned the post with a beautiful poem.
She wrote: “You’re my sun. You’re my moon. You’re all the stars in the sky to me. You’re my rock. You’re the air that I breathe. You’re everything I’ll ever need. You are my world. Happy 16th Wedding Anniversary.”
