Stacey Solomon has amassed a huge social media following over the years for a variety of reasons, from her rise to fame to her family life in Pickle Cottage and the impressive décor and crafts she uses to decorate.

The Former X-Factor contestant has over six million followers on Instagram, with the number growing by the day. From family days out to career moments and everything in between, the TV presenter does not shy away from sharing insights into her personal life.

The latest update from Stacey comes as the calendar hits October 1 and thoughts turn to Halloween and the colder months. On Instagram, Stacey reflected on this year and previous years spending time with Joe Swash and their children at the Essex home.

She wrote: “Hello October. Looking through my camera roll & here are the last seven years of the Halloween doors. Decorating the door is one of my favourite traditions, and looking through these pictures and how our family has grown and changed over the years is legitimately making me cry.

“What a crazy 7 years! Which one is your favourite? I’m torn between 2019 & 2023 but tbh [to be honest] I love them all so much! Happy October Everyone. Spooky season is officially here.”

The 35-year-old has appeared on our screens regularly through the years after she shot to fame on The X Factor in 2009. The TV star is married to former EastEnders actor Joe Swash, 43, and the couple share son Rex, five, and daughters Rose, three, and Belle, two. Stacey also has older sons Zachary, seventeen, with former partner Dean Cox, and Leighton, twelve, with ex-fiancé Aaron Barham.

The 2025 edition of Stacey’s Halloween décor is a lot more casual than previous years as she decorated with a leafy pumpkin arch, with other large pumpkins surrounding her doorway. However, Stacey has grown the pumpkins herself. A photo of her posed in front of them was shared by the Loose Women panellist.

Other years, when the children were younger, pictures showed skeleton decorations and other autumnal colours flooding the doorway. The contrast between the pictures is something that Stacey reflected on as her family has grown.

Fans of Stacey were quick to comment about the seasonal tradition. One comment said: “Always the most beautiful seasonal doors! Such beautiful memories and captures to look back on too! Happy October to you and your beautiful family, Stace.”

A second fan added: “This is so refreshing to see with your 2025 photo. As always every photo you post is beautiful” and another wrote “I have to say 2025 is my favourite, because it shows normality, that mothers/families don’t always have money or time to make these beautiful front door scenes but that it’s ok not to!”

Further responses were “Arrrh. I remember you doing your old house up … lovely to look back on” and “This is so refreshing to see with your 2025 photo. As always every photo you post is beautiful.”

It has been a busy couple of weeks for Stacey as she attended the National Television Awards, and was nominated for two awards. The release of her fly-on-the-wall documentary series with Joe Swash also came last month on BBC, on the back of the success of the first series.
