Kerry Katona has shared a heartfelt post to mark a special occasion with her new partner. The former Atomic Kitten singer is dating influencer Paolo Margaglione after their relationship blossomed on reality show Celebs Go Dating.
The 45-year-old split from her ex-fiancé Ryan Mahoney after six years last November and has been open about her journey to finding love again. Viewers were pleased to see Kerry find happiness with Paolo on the reality show, and their bond has only gone from strength to strength since.
As the programme came to an end, the mum-of-five shared an adorable photo with her boyfriend as she said “it’s only the beginning” of their relationship. In a post on social media last week, she said: “And that’s a wrap last ep tonight on @e4grams @celebsgodating … But it’s only the beginning.”
Fans rushed to send their support. One said: “Absolutely loved seeing your journey and how you have grown”, while a second added: “Your chemistry is magical, it’s like it’s just you two in the room when you’re together.”
More recently, Paolo was celebrating his 34th birthday and Kerry took to Instagram to celebrate her new beau. She regularly updates her 938,000 followers on her busy life away from the spotlight.
Kerry gushed over her boyfriend as she shared a carousel of snaps of them together. She captioned the post with the heart-warming words: “Happy birthday to the most amazing human I have ever met @margafitness you are just beyond the most wonderful soul I’ve ever come across. I hope you have the most amazing day my baby.”
The photos included cosy selfies in the car and snaps of Paolo with Kerry’s children, to stunning photos of their holiday and days out together.
Kerry’s followers rushed to the comments to send their love and best wishes, with many happy to see her smiling. One said: Gorgeous couple so happy for you both.” A second wrote: “I’m so invested in this love story. No one deserves happiness more than you xxx.”
Kerry has her own column with New! magazine and often shares aspects of her personal life. She recently suggested that her daughter, Heidi Croft, should follow in the footsteps of Princess Andre by having her own reality show.
The 44-year-old TV personality believes her youngest daughter, who she shares with ex-husband Mark Croft, could easily let cameras into her daily life, much like Princess, the 18-year-old daughter of model Katie Price and singer Peter Andre, has done with her ITV2 programme, The Princess Diaries.
In her latest column for New! magazine, Kerry, who is close friends with Katie, wrote: “I’m so proud of Princess Andre for her new ITV show, The Princess Diaries – she’s smashing it.”
She added: “I love Princess to pieces, and we have such a great relationship. I always say she can come and live with me in a heartbeat. I think she should do things like this, why not?
“She’s got the platform, and as long as the right people are behind her and supporting her in this industry, then she’ll fly.” Kerry concluded: “Heidi would be amazing at a show like that, I can totally see her doing it too at some point.”
