Stacey Solomon has shared a “proud” message as she reflects on her successes and what she has managed to achieve despite being told none of it was possible when she was younger. The Loose Women panellist is often active on social media and has amassed a huge following of more than 6m followers.

She shares family updates, personal insights and allows followers to see into her home, Pickle Cottage. In her latest Instagram post, Stacey wrote a letter to her teenage self.

She said: “A letter to teenage me. One day you’ll be a teenage mum and there will be people who tell you that you’re on a road to failure, that you’re not smart enough, that you aren’t strong enough, you don’t speak well enough, you aren’t talented enough.

“But then one day you will own the 2nd fastest growing company in the UK. @rehabyourhair With two boss women who started off with a dream and a garage to work out of. Today got my beautiful babies ready for school, then headed off to shoot a campaign with a brand I LOVE @abbottlyon and then drove straight to the awards ceremony to celebrate our company becoming the Second fastest growing company in the country.”

The former X Factor contestant added: “A day like this I could have never even dreamed of growing up. And so many people told me it wouldn’t be possible. Never let anyone set your limits for you. Those people couldn’t have been more wrong.”

Stacey shared further messages to her Instagram Stories, she told followers that it was one of those days you “take a breath in” and “can’t believe” how far you’ve come.

She said growing up, the success she has experienced seemed impossible. Stacey admitted that when she stops and thinks about her life, she feels a little bit emotional.

It has been a busy couple of weeks for Stacey as she attended the National Television Awards, and was nominated for two awards. The release of her fly-on-the-wall documentary series with Joe Swash also came this month on BBC, on the back of the success of the first series.

The 35-year-old has appeared on our screens regularly through the years after she shot to fame on The X Factor in 2009. The TV star is married to former EastEnders actor Joe Swash, 43, and the couple share son Rex, five, and daughters Rose, three, and Belle, two. Stacey also has older sons Zachary, 17, with former partner Dean Cox, and Leighton, 12, with ex-fiancé Aaron Barham.

Last year, the Loose Women host was left speechless after she won the first award of the evening at the National Television Awards. Sort Your Life Out beat other programmes to clinch victory, including Gogglebox and Clarkson’s Farm.

However, this year Stacey didn’t win any of the prizes she was up for. Stacey has since took to social media to share an update after walking away from the ceremony empty-handed.

Sharing a video montage from the star-studded evening, Stacey expressed her delight over getting to spend the night with her whole family, as well as her Sort Your Life Out family.

She wrote: “It’s never about the destination. It all about who you spend the journey with. We didn’t win any awards last night but it feels like we won.

“Not only did I get to be with my whole family last night but I also got to be with our WHOLE Sort Your Life Out team and S&J team. My second family. To the moon and back families @sortyourlifeout @staceyandjoe.tv @optomen @bbciplayer. Thank you to all of you who got us there and voted we are forever grateful.”
