Tommy Fury has admitted he is putting a ban on one aspect of Bambi’s future – though it may not be appearing on Love Island.
The boxer, 26, soared to fame when he appeared on the reality dating programme in 2019, where he met Molly-Mae Hague.
The pair went on to be the show’s biggest success story, welcoming their daughter Bambi in 2023 and getting engaged months later.
They shocked fans in August last year when they announced they’d split after five years together, with Tommy’s struggles with alcohol later revealed as the cause of the breakdown of their relationship.

However, they’ve since rekindled their romance and appear to be working through their problems, with Tommy set to bare all in a new BBC docuseries.
Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury. will expose his life as a boxer as he prepares to show his worth in the ring, and offer a more personal look into his life as a dad and his struggles with alcohol.
Ahead of the series premiering, Tommy opened up about the impact that alcohol had on his life recently and his relationship with Molly-Mae, as well as fatherhood.
Reflecting on his rise to fame and if he would let Bambi follow in his footsteps by going into showbusiness, Tommy said: “That is a scary thing. I don’t know, I look at her every single day and I don’t know what she’s going to be.”

He considered her becoming a vet after inheriting his love for animals, adding: “As long as she grows up with manners and respect for everybody, I don’t care what she does.
“I love her regardless and I’ll always be by her side until the moment I take my last breath and I’m already immensely proud of her.
“I couldn’t be any more proud of her, even if she went on to be the Prime Minister, it won’t make me any more proud.”
He then revealed: “Boxing is going to be a firm no from me. I know the boxing game and I know the amount of black eyes you get, the amount of bloody noses you get, the amount of nights spent in A&E. She doesn’t need to do that.”

When probed on what he would say if Bambi decided to go on Love Island in the future, Tommy quipped: “I don’t know – you’re scaring me now!
“We live in a crazy world, and like I said, as long as she’s got her manners, and she’s got respect and she knows right from wrong, I’ll support her till the day she dies, whatever she wants to do.”
Reflecting on fatherhood and what he wants his own future to look like, Tommy – who confessed he is keen for more children – said he just wants to “succeed as a father”.
“That overshadows the rest of it by a mile. If I can succeed at being a father and my kids can grow up saying ‘My dad was there for me, I’m proud of my dad, and I love the man he is,’ that will make me happier than any money or accolades, that’s the only accolade I want now. I’ve achieved everything else that I wanted to, just being a good father.”

As well as opening up about his struggles with alcohol and his challenge getting back in the boxing ring in the BBC docuseries, the cameras give an insight into Tommy’s life at home with Bambi.
He expressed: “I didn’t want Bambi to feel the weight of this documentary. I didn’t want her to come in the house and there’d be a massive camera team there, production, whatever.
“There was nothing staged for me and Bambi, like everything you see with me and Bambi is completely natural and what we’d normally do, and the camera just picked it up.
“So every scene I’m getting her ready for nursery, for soft play, putting her to bed, and whatever you may see there, that’s what we’d normally do.

“Nothing’s changed because Molly and I did things to get this life but Bambi hasn’t made that choice yet. She shouldn’t be plastered and made to do this and that, and I only include Bambi where I see fit in this.”
He added: “I didn’t know how I was going to take fatherhood, I’m a young kid, I was 23 when she was born and there was a lot going on. But as soon as she was born and I held her in my arms, nothing else mattered.
“And that’s the only feeling I ever had because going into every fight, I think maybe if I lost this fight my world would cave in, there’d be nothing left, but now, it’s like, god forbid if the worst were to happen, I’d still have her.”
Tommy continued: “She’s the best thing in my life 10 times over and I just want to be a dad now that she can be proud of, I think that’s the biggest thing moving forward, and I owe it to her and Molly and everybody to just be the best version of myself that I can really.”
