
Wayne and Coleen Rooney have revealed they enjoyed a family outing to an Oasis concert. The Gallagher brothers have set aside their differences to enjoy an eagerly-awaited reunion tour.
Oasis ’25 kicked off in Cardiff in July and the band has since gone on to perform a series of acclaimed shows across the UK and Ireland. The iconic band played their last show in Dublin’s Croke Park yesterday and are now preparing to cross the Atlantic for a series of overseas gigs.
The band’s North American tour kicks off on Sunday, August 24 with a show at Rogers Stadium in Toronto. Many famous faces have been seen at the gigs so far, which have have been branded by Paul Weller as a “cultural moment”.
The Rooneys have today taken to Instagram to reveal they attended one of Oasis’ five shows at Wembley across July and August. The couple, who have been married since 2008, shared an update on their social medias from the shows in the Capital.
Wayne and Coleen are the proud parents of four children – Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass. They revealed their three youngest children accompanied them to the Oasis gigs.
Kit and Cass were both wearing Oasis branded shirts, while former Everton striker, Wayne, opted for the branded tracksuit top. Coleen was blown away by what she saw as she said: “Oasis … Wembley…. Unbelievable.”
Fans have taken to the comments to praise The Rooneys after the family update. Christina said: “Beautiful family.” Another user said: “Amazing family, amazing concert.”
The Rooneys regularly share updates from the happy family life and they will soon be the focus of a new series launching on Disney+. The show will follow the lives of Wayne and Coleen and currently has a working title of “The Rooneys”.
Retired England international Rooney has recently started his new role as a pundit for the BBC. As part of his new role, the 39-year-old has launched a new podcast called The Wayne Rooney Show.
He also featured on Saturday’s Match of the Day after the Premier League season returned this weekend. Rooney casts his eye over the maiden weekend of the 25/26 season with Alan Shearer.
