Gogglebox star Lee Riley has shared a heartfelt message to his co-star, Jenny Newby, after a huge personal occasion. The armchair critics are beloved fan favourites on the popular Channel 4 programme.
Lee and Jenny have delighted fans with their observations on the week’s best TV from their Hull caravan since they joined the show in 2014. The best friends are currently enjoying a break in between seasons and are expected to return to the show when the new season returns to our screens, which is traditionally in September.
The two have built up a large following Instagram where they share updates from their lives away from the screen. Lee has taken to the social media platform to reveal it was a big day for his partner as she celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary.
Lee shared a snap of Jenny and her husband, Ray, on their big day in 1975. He captioned the post: “Wishing my side kick Jenny and Ray a happy 50th golden wedding anniversary who gets the medal.”
The post was liked by Gogglebox stars, The Siddiquis, among thousands of other fans. People took to the comments to wish Jenny well after the special update.
