Coronation Street’s Harry Lowbridge has shared a series of snaps to say a final “farewell” to his terrifying character Logan Radcliffe. The troublemaker first arrived on the cobbles last October as part of a hard-hitting storyline alongside his brother Mason. Soap fans were quick to show their support as the actor recently confirmed his exit.
Harry has been part of one of the soap’s most powerful storylines as producers aimed to shine a light on the issue of knife crime in the UK. Logan is currently in prison for murdering his brother Mason Radcliffe, which was broadcast in heartbreaking scenes last year.
Most recently, Carla Connor paid a visit to Logan in prison as she was digging for more information about Lisa’s ex-wife Becky. Logan kept his lips sealed, apart from revealing the name of a mystery person called Tia Wardley.

Soon after his interaction with Carla, Logan was warned by a cellmate that he had revealed too much. Viewers saw him make his way back to his cell and the door firmly closed, suggesting an attack was about to happen.
The storyline comes at the same time as the actor has confirmed his exit from the show. In a post on Instagram, Harry wrote: “Farewell Logan. It’s been a blast.”
Liam McCheyne, who portrays Dylan Wilson on the hit ITV soap, added round of applause emojis. Sydney Martin, who plays Betsy Swain, wrote: “Smashed it!!”
Hundreds of soap fans also took to the comments to show their support. One user said: “You’ve been amazing Harry! All the best for the future.”
A second said: “Oh Harry you’re an insane actor and I know you will have a brilliant career ahead of you, good luck and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you achieve. I definitely won’t miss Logan at Corrie but for sure I’ll miss you!!”
A third added: “You did amazing in your last episode in Corrie going to miss you playing Logan. Well done good luck whatever the future holds for you.”
The news comes days after Sally Ann Matthews announced she will be leaving the show. The soap star is renowned for her role as Jenny Bradley in the ITV show.
She said: “I was supposed to stay for five months but ended up doing an extra ten years because I loved it so much! It’s time though to play those parts I always hoped I would when I’d ’grown up.’ Thanks Trafford Wharf Rd for the memories and endless laughter x.”
The actor joins a list of stars who have also bid farewell to the cobbles in recent months, including Sue Cleaver, Charlotte Jordan and Colson Smith.
