Jack P Shepherd has branded some of his recent wedding guests “f***ing idiots” for posing a particular question about the arrangements. During a fresh instalment of the On The Sofa podcast alongside fellow Coronation Street stars Colson Smith and Ben Price (filmed before his nuptials to Hanni Treweek), the David Platt actor revealed details about his wedding plans.
The delighted pair exchanged vows at Manchester Cathedral on Saturday (July 26),, surrounded by family and friends. This included his podcast colleagues, Colson and Ben, who would act as his groomsmen on the special day.
Jack mentioned during the recording that it was the “kick-b*****k scramble” week leading up to the ceremony, when they needed to sort out the “nitty gritty bits”, which led Colson to enquire whether there had been any last-minute dropouts.
He said: “I’ve had a few f***ing idiots saying things like – it’s mainly family.” Colson interjected, acknowledging that he was, in fact, a “f***ing idiot”, to which Jack responded: “Oh, was ya?”

Jack went on: “Saying stuff like, ‘Well, where do we get ready, because the wedding’s at two, but we can’t check in till three?’ I said, ‘At f***ing home, you idiot. I mean, where do you think you get ready if you can’t get ready in the hotel?”
Expanding further, he highlighted that guests could turn up at the hotel and do what “normal people” do by leaving their luggage with reception.
Nevertheless, it seems the wedding proceeded smoothly. In what they described as “the wedding of our dreams”, Jack made a grand entrance in a red Mustang, looking dapper in an off-white suit, sunglasses and bow-tie.
Hanni, on the other hand, looked stunning in a skirt and off-the-shoulder top, complete with a tiara.
Among the guests were Jack’s son, Reuben, who was dressed similarly to his dad, and the actor’s on-screen mum, Helen Worth, who was accompanied by her husband, Trevor Dawson.

As they exited the venue, the newlyweds were seen beaming and sharing several kisses as they made their way to the wedding car, while white confetti showered over them.
Jack and Hanni’s love story began on the set of Corrie, where she worked as a scriptwriter. Fast forward to just over a year ago, and Jack proposed during a safari trip in Tanzania.
The soap star first joined the long-running ITV show in April 2000 and has since become a beloved fixture of the series.
Ahead of the big day, Jack took to Instagram to express his gratitude to the wedding planners. He wrote: “The A team, @taylorlynncorp me and @hannitreweek are so grateful. everything has come together and it’s looking like it’s gonna be amazing!”.
“We couldn’t have done it without you guys. Best in the biz. Thank you thank you thank you.”
