Jack P Shepherd Shares His First Update After the Wedding – Co-Stars Already Want a Round Two

Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd has shared a special update on Instagram after his wedding day yesterday (Saturday July 26). The star married Hanni Treweek in a classic ceremony yesterday that took place at Manchester Cathedral, surrounded by friends, family and co-stars.

The actor first joined the ITV soap in April 2000 to take on the role of David Platt. Since then, he’s become a legend of the show, and has had his fair share of dramatic storylines. Over a year ago, Jack proposed to Hanni while on a safari in Tanzania. The couple first met in 2017 on the set of the long-running soap when Hanni was working as a scriptwriter.

He arrived in style on the day dressed in a cream tuxedo suit in a red Mustang with his son Reuben who was wearing a matching suit. Co-stars Colson Smith and Ben Price appeared to be chosen as groomsmen for the big day, and co-stars Lucy Fallon and Tina O’Brien were also in attendance.

Jack’s on screen mum Helen Worth (Gail Platt) also made her first appearance after exiting the show, hand in hand with her husband Trevor Dawson. Since the big day, the actor has shared an update to his Instagram story of a reel by p.s.visuals featuring a short video teaser of the wedding.

On Instagram, the caption read: “A short teaser from the Manchester take over for the wedding of @hannitreweek and @jackpshepherd88 what an incredible team, what an incredible day.”

Coronation Street co-stars were quick to share the love in the comments, reminiscing on the day.

Sally Dynevor, also known as Sally Metcalfe said: “The most perfect day. So much love to you both.”
