Peter Andre has had an emotional few weeks with his wife Emily MacDonagh, and his five children. First, he admitted he was struggling to cope with his eldest daughter, Princess, becoming an official adult when she turned 18, before he and Emily celebrated an impressive 10 years of marriage.

Now, as he opens up to OK! in his exclusive weekly column, the Mysterious Girl hitmaker reveals it’s daughter Millie who’s been tugging on his heart strings. The youngster, who is Pete and Emily’s eldest of their three shared children, enjoyed her last week at Primary School, and Pete admits he and Emily have found the transition “sad”. He also opens up about why MasterChef should weather its current presenter storm, and why he’ll be tuning in to this year’s UEFA Women’s EURO tournament…

Snakes and Adders

snake

You see snakes all the time in Australia, but the fact there have been reports they’re on the loose in the UK would freak anyone out! My mum has always been petrified of snakes, whereas I’d be more scared of spiders. But nobody wants to know that anything is crawling or slithering around.

Thankfully for the Brits, nine out of the 10 most dangerous snakes in the world are in Australia, but as my auntie down under would say, “You wouldn’t wanna find one of those in your washing machine – even if it is harmless.”

End of an Era

Emily MacDonagh on ITV's Lorraine

It’s been a bittersweet time recently – Emily and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary this month, but it was also Millie’s last week of primary school before she heads off to secondary school in September.

It’s been quite sad to see her prepare to say goodbye to the school she’s attended since she was little. I try to look at it like they’re growing up and it’s great, but Emily has found it tough. Millie is her firstborn so I totally understand why she feels so emotional about it.

A Sporting Chance

The Lionesses' triumph at the 2022 Euros has catapulted female football players' pay into mainstream conversation

Many of us are loving watching the Women’s Euros. Growing up in Australia, where many girls were just incredible at sport, the female football players in particular were amazing. There are some phenomenal sportswomen out there, but there is still so much more to do when it comes to equality.

To be honest, it shouldn’t even be an issue in 2025. It should be about how talented you are at the sport, no matter what nationality or gender you are.

Chopping Block

Masterchef logo

MasterChef is such an iconic show, but when there is negative focus on the presenters, as there has been, it detracts from its wholesome nature.

Situations like this have happened before on many other shows, where presenters or participants are probed and/or axed, but we have to remember that MasterChef has a very strong identity – it stands on its own.
