Eoghan Quigg, a former X Factor star, is almost unrecognisable from his time on the ITV show over a decade ago.
The singer, who auditioned in 2008, has now become a TikTok sensation, sharing glimpses of his family life with his followers.
Eoghan reached the final of The X Factor after wowing judges Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue, Louis Walsh and Cheryl, eventually finishing third behind JLS and Alexandra Burke. He also tried his hand at representing Ireland in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest.
Fast forward nearly twenty years, and Eoghan, now 32, looks quite different and is a father to two children. He’s amassed a loyal fanbase of over 31,000 followers and recently shared that he married his partner Amy for a second time.
Earlier this year, the pair tied the knot in Las Vegas shortly after he popped the question during a holiday, reports the Mirror.
“So we’ve been keeping a little secret What happens in Vegas…” he teased, alongside a video of him proposing in Central Park, which then cut to them outside The Little White Chapel in Las Vegas.

Amy looked gorgeous in a white minidress, complete with a veil and bouquet. They’ve since celebrated with a “home wedding”, with Eoghan sporting a white tuxedo to match his bride.
“Congrats guys you both look amazing hope you had a fantastic day,” one fan responded, to which Eoghan replied it was the “best day”.
“Aww Brilliant ! Congratulations to you both,” another follower commented.
When another fan enquired about whether Eoghan and Amy had a “home wedding” he revealed that they were marking their union in Vegas, with loved ones gathering in Derry.

Having been together since 2015, they have welcomed two children, daughter Emmy Belle in 2021 and son Camden in 2023. Amy also has two children from a previous relationship.
Eoghan has been sharing updates on his TikTok account, including his experience of getting a hair transplant. The singer also posts nostalgic clips from his days on The X Factor, sharing glimpses into his life as a performer as he shows young children.
Reflecting on his journey, which began when he auditioned for The X Factor at 15, Eoghan counts himself as “one of the lucky ones”, having had a positive experience on the show. However, he admits he wouldn’t want his own children to follow in his footsteps.

He shared with Belfast Live: “I wouldn’t want my children to do it, it’s tough and there is so much more social media about now.
“I just think nowadays kids see so much on internet and there is a lot of pressures to look a certain way.
“There wasn’t as much negativity around when I was on the show.”
He added: “I had to quickly learn not everyone is going to like you, you have to just live with it and get on with it.

“I grew up really quickly, I was just a kid in school that came from a normal, working-class family.
“It went from 0-100, my world was turned upside down.
“But everyone back home was really supportive and I think 99.9% of teenagers would rather be on the X-Factor than studying for their GCSEs.
“I never had any anxiety, I really had the right people around me and after the show I had a great tour manager.”
After The X Factor, Eoghan had a short stint as a footballer, and released his first album in 2009. He also made TV appearances on Dani’s House, Alan Carr: Chatty Man and Harry Hill’s TV Burp.
