Peter Andre has revealed that his daughter – who turned 18 last week – is under ‘pressure’ for the way she looks, with the singer reminding the teen that it’s what’s inside that counts. It comes after Princess was accused of getting lip filler by fans on Instagram, which she was forced to deny.
“Oh noooooo the lips have been done,” wrote a follower on one of Princess’s recent Instagram posts, to which the teen replied, “No they haven’t? x”. Writing in his weekly New! Magazine column, Peter detailed the pressures of being young in the age of social media and shared his thoughts on backlash.
The dad-of-five also sent his condolences to Tulisa’s dad, Plato Contostavlos, who sadly passed earlier this month, and shared his thoughts on Wayne and Coleen Rooney’s upcoming reality show.

What Makes You Beautiful
Princess is now 18 and it already feels like ages ago. I think as a parent you automatically think they will now be totally independent ,but as she says, she doesn’t notice any difference. Well I mean, you wouldn’t after three days, LOL. She’s still ringing me to let me know where she is and what time she’ll be home, which is very sweet.
Secretly, I love it. I do see though that there’s a lot of pressure on teenagers nowadays with the way they look, especially with social media. But like I always tell Princess, someone could be the most beautiful looking person in the world, but if they’re not a nice person, they’re not that attractive. It’s not about what you look like, it’s about who you are that makes you truly beautiful.

Sad Times
I’m very sad reading about the death of Tulisa’s dad, Plato Contostavlos, who was in 70s band Mungo Jerry. I’ve met Tulisa many times in the past and she’s a lovely girl, and a fellow Greek, of course. Losing a parent is so hard. I can only imagine what pain the family is going through. I really do feel for them all.
My mum is in her late eighties and very frail, and I find that really difficult, so I can only imagine Tulisa’s pain with her dad being younger. It’s a horrific time for anyone and I hope and pray that in years to come she’ll just remember the great times, as much as it’s difficult right now.

The Real Rooneys
So the Rooneys are making their own reality show now. It’s great when you get access to incredible sportspeople like Wayne because we only ever know what we read in the press. We don’t actually know what goes on in their lives. I think they’ll smash it! Filming in our home is coming to an end but we’ve had great fun doing it. That’s not to say it isn’t hard work though – it is. But in a nice way.

Happy Ever After
This week, Emily and I will have been married for10 years. Wow! At the time of writing, I’m about to surprise Emily with a beautiful couple of days away. I won’t spill the beans on where until next week because I don’t want her to read this and work out everything that’s happening! I’ve got something really amazing, something sweet and hopefully romantic, and I’m really looking forward to it. Of course I love her as much today as I did on the day we married, probably more. How could I not? She’s a beaut.
