Loose Women star Coleen Nolan was flooded with supportive messages as she revealed she will be a nan for the fourth time. The panelist shared the exciting news last week that she was expecting her third grandchild as her daughter, Ciara, is pregnant.
She has quickly followed that up with more incredible family news as eldest son, Shane Nolan, is also expecting a child with his partner Kim. Coleen took to Instagram this morning and announced the incredible news.
She said: “I can’t actually believe this but I wanted to share with you all that I’m going to be a Nanny AGAIN! My first born Shane and his lovely partner Kim have just announced they are having a baby and I’m so excited.
“Wishing them all the congratulations in the world. I wonder what gender it’ll be.” Coleen’s Loose Women co-host Denise Welch was one of the first to take to the comments.”
She said: “Stop!!! It’s not fair!!!!” Other fans took to the comments to send their congratulations after the incredible family news. Kath said: “That’s 2 grand babies on the way congratulations to you all Xx”
Donna posted: “How perfect – congratulations all x” Tracy posted: “Aw Massive Congratulations to Mum, Dad and Nanny” Ellen said: ” You must be ecstatic, 2 on the way!”
The new arrival will be Shane’s second child as he is already the proud dad to a daughter named Amelia, who was born in 2016. Coleen’s other son, Jake, became a dad to a baby boy in November 2024.
After Ciara announced her pregnancy last week, Coleen spoke about her future plans to build her own nursery in her home to make space for her grandchildren to come and stay.
Speaking about how Ciara is feeling, Coleen said: “She’s so excited. She’s really scared and she’s really worried.” Her daughter Ciara took to Instagram to share her exciting news with her fiance Max.
She shared a photograph of herself holding her baby bump. She wrote: “One of me is cute but two tho? Baby Innes pending…” Fans rushed to the comments to congratulate Ciara on her exciting news.
One said: “Fabulous news. Congratulations to you all xx.” A second wrote: “Aww congratulations I bet your Mum is over the moon xxxx.”
Coleen’s Loose Women co-star Ruth Langsford also added to the comments on Instagram, she said: “WONDERFUL! Congratulations!” Saira Khan wrote: “Wow!! Congratulations” with a red love heart emoji and former Coronation Street actress Hayley Tamaddon added: “Oh huge congratulations.”
Coleen recently opened up about her own milestone as she turned 60 in March this year. The mum-of-three has recently split from her boyfriend, Michael Jones, and said she fears she might not find love again.
She said: “[I’m] turning 60 as a single woman and, while that’s right for me at this stage, I did have a moment this week of feeling a little sad that I might not get to love again.
“I love being in love and being loved, and I feel I still have a lot to give in that department.” Coleen met Michael on dating app Tinder and were in a relationship for three years.
