Noel Gallagher has teased “there’s no going back” as the Oasis Live ’25 Tour set is “sounding huge”. Oasis are set to embark on their first tour in 16 years. Last August, Liam and Noel Gallagher announced they would reunite after a 16-year break for Oasis Live ’25.
The Britpop legend confirmed rehearsals for the upcoming tour have wrapped up. Appearing on talkSPORT Breakfast, he said: “We finished rehearsing last Tuesday. We’ve got a few days off now and it’s sounding huge, so we’re all, ‘well this is it, there’s no going back now’. It’s good.”
Noel was also asked if he will be attending Glastonbury this weekend. The Worthy Farm festival started on Wednesday, June 25, and lasts until Sunday, June 29, with some of the biggest names in music set to perform.
This year’s headliners include The 1975, Olivia Rodrigo and Neil Young. Other acts to feature on the line-up this year include Charli XCX, Grammy-winner Doechii, Rod Stewart and The Prodigy.
Noel confirmed he will not be attending the legendary festival, with Oasis’ stadium tour kicking off days later on July 4 in Cardiff. When asked if he will be heading down to Worthy Farm, he said: “I might have a look at it on the iPlayer, yeah, but everyone was saying ‘are you coming?’”

He added: “I was like, ‘I think it’s probably best if I sit it out this year as I’ve got something going on next weekend.’” Sir Rod Stewart will play the Sunday afternoon legends slot. Noel commented: “Big Rod, the cup of tea slot, two in the afternoon. Good lad, he’d be good, him and Ronnie Wood.”
On Sunday, Olivia Rodrigo will headline the Pyramid Stage, with The Prodigy headlining the Other Stage and Overmono taking over West Holts.
Tonight, The 1975 will headline the Pyramid Stage, with Loyle Carner headlining the Other Stage and Maribou State taking over West Holts.
The Oasis Live ’25 kicks off in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on Friday, June 4. The band will play two shows in the Welsh capital before heading on to Heaton Park.
The band will play Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin in the summer of 2025. They have also confirmed shows outside of Europe.
They will play in Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne, Sydney, Buenos Aires, Santiago and São Paulo.
In anticipation of the massive run of shows this summer, a series of Oasis Live ’25 Fan Stores will be popping up across the UK – with the first one opening in Manchester.
It offers fans the opportunity to stock up on merchandise ahead of the concerts, purchase memorabilia items and get into the spirit before their five Heaton Park shows.
