Coronation Street’s Helen Flanagan shares a “beautiful” family update and says she “can’t believe” it.

Helen Flanagan has shared an adorable video cuddling her son on a picnic blanket surrounded by flowers. The clip was uploaded to social media by the former Coronation Street actress.

She played the role of Rosie Webster on the Cobbles from from 2000 to 2012 and from 2017 to 2018. After going on maternity leave in 2018, she did not return to the role.

Helen has since appeared on reality TV shows including I’m A Celebrity South Africa in 2023 and Celebs Go Dating in 2024. Helen shares three children with her ex-partner Scott Sinclair.

They have two daughters together, nine-year-old Matilda, six-year-old Delilah and son Charlie who is three years old. Helen separated with the footballer in 2022 after 13 years together and getting engaged.

In the Instagram video of Helen and her son Charlie, the actress wrote: “Think this is my favourite thing on my camera roll. Can’t believe my baby boy starts school in September.”

Fans of the soap star replied to the sweet video, as a person wrote “Aww that’s just so beautiful” and another commented “such lovely pictures.

Others posted “They grow away too quickly” and “Beautiful moment”. Helen announced the birth of Charlie on March 28, 2021.

Sharing a photo of the the baby in her arms at hospital, she said: “Our baby boy Charlie was born on Thursday on Scott’s birthday. I was two days overdue like I was with Delilah.

“We are in such a love bubble we couldn’t be more in love with our beautiful little boy. We can not stop staring at him.

“The girls just love him so much. We are absolutely besotted with our perfect little prince.

“Charlie is an absolute dream come true. I don’t think I’ve slept much since the labour but I feel like I miss his little face when I do sleep not been able to put him down or stop kissing and cuddling him, he is so loved Thankyou for all your lovely messages.”

The actress has revealed she’s ready for a fresh start as eyes up her acting comeback. The 34-year-old actress was due to appear in Cluedo 2 theatre tour last year but was advised to withdraw due to medical reasons.

Speaking at the WhichBingo Awards last month, Helen said: “My passion is acting and I’ve got got two really good projects next year which I’m excited about and I just want to focus to getting back into acting. I really want to do theatre and I’d love to do some dramas.

“There’s loads of things I’d like to do but I feel like I want to start fresh again and go into theatre and go from there really.” The mum-of-three explained: “I get asked all the time if I’m going back to Coronation Street and I would love to go back.
