Curtis Jones and his girlfriend Saffie Khan have shared an exciting relationship update to social media. A picture of the Liverpool midfielder kneeling on one knee with an engagement ring was posted to Instagram.
The Liverpool midfielder has been in a relationship with the Scouse model since 2019 and the two share a daughter together, Giselle Jones. Adorable snaps shared by both Curtis and Saffie show how the proposal unfolded.
The two are currently on holiday together and he popped the question in front of a floral love heart shaped arch, surrounded by flower petals and candles. The landscape was beautiful with water and mountains in the background of the photos.

An LED light hanging from the flower arch read “Will you marry me?”, one of the images showed Saffie, who wore a long pale pink dress, with her hands over her face as the moment unfolded. Their daughter was also present with Curtis pictured hugging and kissing her.
Other pictures showed Saffie holding Giselle while showing off her beautiful ring. The post was captioned “Yes to forever”, with a ring emoji.
Messages of congratulations have been left for the engaged couple. Danielle Lloyd said: “Aww babe congratulations so happy for you.
“You look gorgeous.” Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan wrote “So happy for you”, alongside a red heart emoji.
Footballer Ivan Toney commented: “Congratulations geez. Get them stretches in”, as he joked about the kneeling position.
Fellow Scouser Anthony Gordon responded “My guys, congratulations.” Giselle was born in October 2024, but Saffie faced a health scare when giving birth for the first time.
A few hours after Giselle was born, Saffie started to experience a lot of bleeding and was unsure whether this was normal. Then she stood up to go to another room and take a shower but started feeling “really dizzy”.
In a video published in March, Saffie revealed that doctors warned they might have to give her a blood transfusion. It was soon discovered that not all of her placenta had come out, which was causing the bleeding.
Despite the scare, Curtis and Saffie have a healthy daughter and they regularly share updates as a happy family together. Last month Curits took to Instagram with a photo of his arm around his girlfriend and kissing her cheek as she celebrates her 23rd birthday.
He captioned the image “Happy birthday my *love heart emoji* I love and appreciate you forever @SaffieKhan.” Another photo was of the couple with their daughter Giselle, as Jones added “Most important thing in life.”
For her birthday, Saffie celebrated with a pink heart ’23’ cake, completed with pink ribbons and bows. Other pictures shared to her Instagram Stories showed a number of presents wrapped up in pink and white wrapping paper.
The couple have celebrated a lot together in recent years, from the engagement to the birth of their daughter and even a Premier League title win. Saffie paid tribute to the midfielder following Liverpool’s title win.
She shared a heartfelt moment with their daughter, Giselle, along with a touching three-word message: “Daddy did it.” She is often vocal about her support for Curtis when he plays.
