Blue star Lee Ryan has announced his wife Verity is pregnant with their fourth child – which will be the singer’s sixth child.
The pop star, 42, took to TikTok to reveal the happy news, sharing an adorable snap where he’s cradling Verity’s growing baby bump. Alongside the picture, he playfully wrote: “”Oooops we did it again” baby number 4 on the way to add to our lovely little family! Another vibe to join the tribe we are truly grateful ps…. Check out little Elton John by the piano!”
Fans poured into the comments section of his post with warm messages and congratulations.
One user commented cheerily: “congratulations to Lee and Verity xxxx,” Another couldn’t resist quipping: “Starting your own band mate! ! Hahah congratulations! !” A third fan commended, saying: “Lee Ryan will repopulate the world Congratulations you both Courage, Verity,courage”.
Lee is already dad to daughter Bluebell, 18, from his relationship with Jessica Keevil, and 16 year old daughter Rayn, whose mother is ex-partner Samantha Miller, reports the Mirror.
Lee and wife Verity have three children together, welcoming little ones in 2023, 2022 and 2021. They share two girls and a boy.
The couple married in a civil ceremony in Gibraltar in 2022 during lockdown. The pair, who met at an event, immediately knew they were meant to be and wanted to tie the knot “ASAP”. But due to pandemic restrictions, they had to hold the ceremony without family and friends. Then, in October 2024, Lee and Verity exchanged vows once again in a beautiful ceremony in Seville, with all Lee’s Blue bandmates in attendance.
Lee gushed about the special day in an exclusive interview with OK! as he said: “The service incorporated different religions and spiritual elements along with lots of different music, which made everyone cry. I walked down the aisle with my newborn son in my arms dressed in matching tux to Time by Hans Zimmer, played by a string quartet. Then watching my wife walk down the aisle to I’m Kissing You by Des’ree sung by a gospel choir… that took my breath away. We banned mobile phones from the service itself so everyone was present in the moment and not trying to film and take photos.”
He added: “I cried when I walked down the aisle, I cried when I saw my wife and I cried when we tied our hands! Verity got emotional when the gospel choir sang. We had a song called The Blessing, it’s a gospel church song.”
Lee also gushed about his children playing a part of the special day as he told us: “Our children are our lives. There were 13 flower girls in total. All the children who were part of the wedding, their parents were bridesmaids and ushers. Our two girls were flower girls and our little boy was all dressed up too. They were all at the front with us, as you can see in some of the photos.”
