Coronation Street fans were quick to comment that Emma Watts star Angela Lonsdale “hasn’t aged at all” following a sweet reunion with an ITV colleague.

The 57 year old actress, who portrayed police officer Emma on the beloved ITV soap from 2000 to 2003 and was paired with iconic character Curly Watts, has been busy since her departure from the show.

Angela’s post-Corrie career has seen her grace our screens in Holby City, Doctors, This Is England ’90, Our Girl, The Syndicate, and Hollyoaks, among others.

Recently, Angela caught up with her old Corrie mate, Sally Dynevor, who continues to tread the cobbles as Sally Metcalfe, alongside Sally’s daughter Hattie Dynevor of Waterloo Road fame.

Taking to Instagram, Angela shared heartfelt birthday wishes: “Wishing you The Happiest Birthday my beautiful angel @sallydynevor , Thank you for being the Best Friend anyone could wish for ! Fans flocked to her Instagram to compliment her timeless beauty, with comments like: “You really haven’t changed a bit darling”, “You really haven’t aged at all wow beautiful both inside and out”, “You’ve hardly changed since I met you 35 years ago”, and another echoing “You really haven’t changed a bit darling.”

Angela responded to the outpouring of love with gratitude, writing: “Corrie Legend and Not aged a day. Well ill take that any day of the week.”

Earlier this week, Angela enjoyed a nostalgic meet-up with her old ‘Coronation Street’ pals, including Sally Dynevor and Denise Welch, famed for playing Natalie Barnes from 1997 to 2000, along with current star Samia Longchambon, aka Maria Connor.

The Loose Women favourite Denise, 67, took to Instagram to share their get-together, writing excitedly: “Back with the girls again!”

Always one to cherish connections, Angela makes sure to stay in contact with her former Weatherfield colleagues and, in 2023, she captured a delightful moment with on-screen husband Curly Watts actor Kevin Kennedy.

Posting the heartwarming reunion photo on Instagram, Angela wrote: “Reunited with my corrie hubby @realkevinkennedy Break a leg pet! @rockofagesmusicaluk.”
