Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has issued a heartfelt tribute to his fiancée. The soap star will soon tie the knot with his long term partner, Hanni Treweek.
The couple are set to marry later this summer and regularly share updates from their happy life together. Jack, renowned for his role as David Platt, has taken to Instagram to reveal it’s a special day for the family.
The Celebrity Big Brother winner said: “Happy birthday gorgeous girl we love you very much, another season completed in the Hanni chronicles ” Hanni revealed the countdown is on to their wedding in an update last week.
She shared a series of snaps to mark the one year anniversary since Jack proposed on an exotic trip to Tanzania. She said: “365 days of being your Fiancée
“51 days until we become Husband & Wife. Looking back at the most special memories with you, Tanzania will always hold a special place in my heart.
“Happy one year anniversary @jackpshepherd88 what a magical year it’s been.” Based on Hanni’s dates it would seem she is set to marry the soap star on July 25.
Fans took to the comments after Jack’s birthday post to praise the happy couple. @popcanrollers posted: “You two seem like the perfect match.”
Laura posted: “She is gorgeous! I am so jealous of your African adventure.” Dan commented: “Ahh I hope you are having a lovely birthday Hanni. I hope you are both keeping well. Sending best birthday wishes”
The couple met behind the scenes on the show before they started dating in 2017 and Jack described her as his “soulmate”. He told OK!: “We met at Corrie but we only really knew each other to say hello to at work.
“Then our mutual friends got married and we were both guests at the wedding. We got chatting. I made Hanni laugh. We had a couple of drinks and we flirted. That was it.”
Jack was previously in a relationship with his childhood sweetheart, Lauren Shippey, who he shares two children with named Reuben and Nyla.
