Danny Dyer has won new fans with a bold claim about the Scouse accent. The actor and his famous daughter Dani Dyer often do interviews together and share a close bond.
The dad and daughter took part in a new game called ‘Private Matters’, where they took turns asking each other difficult questions. For every question asked, they had the choice to answer openly or share the answer in their family WhatsApp chat.
Danny, known for straight talking in a Cockney accent has been on TV screens since the 1990s with various roles in film, TV series and stage productions. Danny’s daughter was born on August 8, 1996, she recently tied the knot with West Ham footballer Jarrod Bowen.
In the game hosted by Ladbible, the Dyers were asked “If Danny and Dani had to have any other accent other than their signature cockney cadence, what would they choose?”
Without hesitation the former EastEnders actor replied “Scouse”, with his daughter agreeing “yes”. The two agreed with each other so fast that Dani joked they should have counted down from three and said the answer at the same time.
Danny explained he finds something “very unique” and “sexy” about the Scouse accent. Imitating a Scouse accent, the 47-year-old said “murder” before trying to master the “ck” sound.

After trying to sound like a Scouser, Danny joked “Let’s not upset too many Scousers.” The post uploaded to Instagram by Ladbible received plenty of comments.
Ali wrote: “Just when I thought I couldn’t love that man anymore than I do. I’ll teach you Scouse any day.” Jillian added “Well Lad I’m from Liverpool. I agree.”
Alisha commented: “Yes, we love you too”, Martin responded “Wow what great news ! Now I can sleep well at night” and Keith stated “You’re all welcome to the Greatest City on Earth.”
The former Love Island winner married West Ham striker Jarrod Bowen in an intimate ceremony in May. The proud dad shared a slow dance with Dani at the reception, after walking her down the aisle earlier in the day.
Dani captioned a post about the wedding: “The best day of my entire life and a day that I will want to relive forever.” The EastEnders star previously opened up to the Mirror about welcoming Jarrod into the family.
