Soap stars have been sharing pictures of their time at the British Soap Awards 2025. The annual occasion took place this weekend, May 31. Wearing their best outfits, the actors attended the glitzy award ceremony to cheer on their colleagues and soap.
While it was a mixed bag of results for some soaps, there were still smiles and laughter all round as an after-party got underway. Actress Lisa Riley, who plays Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale, was among those in attendance at the London ceremony.
She shared a selfie with fellow actress Natalie Robb, known for her role as Moira Dingle. She wrote “love ya babes. Here’s us on our way.” Emmerdale fans commented on the picture of the long-standing soap stars.
Eileen commented “You two scrub up well!” Cameron replied “Oh wow that is a fantastic and amazing picture of you and Natalie J Robb both on your way to the British Soap Awards for 2025. You absolutely really do look amazing there indeed!”
Sarah added: “Beautiful picture of you both ….love the soap awards because we get to see iconic photos of you all.” A similar message was left by “Beautiful smiles on both your faces.”
Also commenting was Vicky Myers, she responded “You”, with love heart emojis. A sweet exchange followed, Lisa replied “@vicksmyers love you so much-last night I was BRIMMING with pride for you-truly your proudest big sister for life couldn’t love you anymore if I tried.”
Vicky shared the same sentiment, responding “@lisajaneriley Lisa, thank you you beautiful woman. Love you Sis.” Lisa is part of the Dingle clan on Emmerdale and has portrayed the role of Mandy on and off since 1995.
Vicky has played DS Lisa Swain on Coronation Street since 2021. She has been involved in huge storylines, including helping investigate murderer Joel Deering. She is also in a relationship with Carla Connor, the couple have proved a fan favourite.
The soap stars worked together on 2018 drama Age Before Beauty where they played sisters. The family drama is set in a Manchester beauty salon.
The series follows Bel, a homemaker and mother-of-two, as she deals with the demands of her family’s struggling salon business and her warring family with the problems in her marriage.
Lisa Riley played the role of Tina Regan, a tattoo artist in the family salon. Vicky Myers played the role of Heidi Regan, a cosmetic surgery addict and mum to seven-year-old Disney.
Although the soap stars no longer work together, they still remain close friends and often share messages of support for one another on social media.
