Natasha Hamilton has spoken openly about the possibility of an Atomic Kitten reunion—and made it clear that while she would love to perform again with bandmates Liz McClarnon and Jenny Frost, she doesn’t see herself working with Kerry Katona in the future.
In a candid interview with Celebrity Skin Talk, the 42-year-old singer from Kensington explained that, while there are no current plans for an Atomic Kitten comeback, she hasn’t ruled it out completely. She said, “There’s no imminent plans, there’s no long-term plans, but that’s not to say we would never do it, because stranger things have happened.”
Natasha emphasized that if a reunion were to happen, it would be with Liz and Jenny, not Kerry. “If we did have a reunion, it would be me, Liz, and Jenny,” she said. “And we’re all still close. We all speak, we all hang out. So there’s no reason why, if it was for the right thing, and everyone was in the right place, that we couldn’t do it. But I can’t see that happening any time soon. I’d love it, though.”
She revealed that she’s even suggested the idea to Liz and Jenny, though practical obstacles have made a reunion challenging. Jenny now lives in Ibiza and has a different lifestyle, while Liz recently announced that she’s expecting her first child with her husband Peter Cho, which naturally shifts her focus to her growing family.
Natasha added: “I’m always the one saying, ‘Should we maybe do something?’ No one has to twist my arm. But understandably, Jenny’s got her life in Spain and does other things now, and Liz is pregnant. I’m absolutely over the moon for her. Her priority now is becoming a mum, as it should be. So we’ll see. Never say never.”
Outside of her music career, Natasha is also a mother to five children: Josh (22), Harry (20), Alfie (14), Ella (10), and Kitty (almost 2), the youngest of whom she shares with her husband Charles Gay. As a mother of five, Natasha offered some advice to Liz about embracing the early stages of motherhood.
“Just try to enjoy it, because it can get really busy and tiring,” she said. “Sometimes you lose sight of just enjoying the simplicity of being a mum. I’m a workaholic, and even though I love the baby bubble, I always feel like, ‘Oh, but I should be doing more.’ But you really don’t need to be doing anything else—just enjoy your baby. And Liz will.”
In summary, while Natasha Hamilton is open to the idea of an Atomic Kitten reunion with Liz and Jenny in the future, she made it clear that Kerry Katona would not be part of it. For now, any plans are on hold due to life circumstances, but the door isn’t completely closed.
