Helen Flanagan has her eye on the glamorous world of Strictly Come Dancing, eager to bring some sparkle to the dancefloor.
The 34-year-old former Coronation Street actress shared her excitement at the WhichBingo Awards, expressing her love for dressing up and dancing.
“I’d absolutely love to do Strictly,” she said. “I’m really girly and I love glamming up and all the outfits.”

Among those rumored to join Helen Flanagan in the Strictly Come Dancing 2025 lineup are Tom Parker Bowles, Ashley Cain, Yinrun Huang, Stacey Solomon, and Miranda Hart, leaving fans curious about who will take to the dancefloor later this year.
But Strictly isn’t the only reality show Helen is interested in. She also expressed a desire to take part in Celebrity Big Brother, following in the footsteps of former soap co-stars Jack P Shepherd and Colson Smith.
Confident about reality TV, she said, “I would also like to do Celebrity Big Brother. I’m very social and I trust myself with things like that,” according to the Manchester Evening News.
Meanwhile, Helen, known for appearing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and Celebs Go Dating, is preparing for a return to acting after stepping back from last year’s Cluedo 2 theatre tour due to health reasons.
She’s excited about her upcoming projects and eager to reignite her acting career.
The mother of three revealed, “My passion is acting and I’ve got two really exciting projects lined up for next year. I just want to focus on getting back into acting.” She added that she’s keen to return to the stage, saying, “I really want to do theatre and I’d love to take on some drama roles.”
Helen also spoke about wanting a fresh start: “There are lots of things I’d like to do, but I feel like I want to start fresh again, focus on theatre, and see where it takes me.”
Having first captured audiences as Rosie Webster on Coronation Street 25 years ago, Helen hasn’t ruled out a comeback to the show, admitting, “I get asked all the time if I’m going back to Coronation Street, and I would love to return.”
