Coronation Street fans have figured out that Daniel Osbourne has a new romance brewing—and it’s with a returning familiar face.
Played by Rob Mallard, Daniel has been a steady character on the show since he first appeared in 1995. As the son of soap legend Ken Barlow (William Roache), Daniel has been involved in many key storylines.

As fans may recall, Daisy experienced a lot of drama during her time on the street, including a paternity scandal involving Daniel and Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), a devastating miscarriage, and a feud with her stepmother Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews), according to Leicestershire Live.
After cleverly taking Jenny’s money, Daisy planned to escape. Before starting a new life abroad, she shared some of the cash with other residents, including the terminally ill Julie Carp (Katy Cavanagh), as well as Daniel and his son Bertie.
