A Place in the Sun’s Laura Hamilton has issued a grateful message as she marked a special personal update. The popular presenter is renowned for her role as a host on the popular Channel 4 programme.
She has helped househunters find their dream property abroad ever since she first joined the show in 2012. Laura regualrly keeps fans updates with her life away from the screen on Instagram.
The property presenter took to the social media platform today to reveal she is celebrating her 43rd birthday Laura’s fellow presenter Hayley Sparkes was one of many to share messages of support.
She said: “Happy birthday Laura Hamilton. I can’t wait for our spa day soon.” In response to the messages, Laura made a thankful updates.
The host said: “I just want to say thank you so much to all of you for all of your wonderful birthday messages. It’s been really sweet to hear from you all so thank you.
“I dropped the children off to school this morning at 6.30 because they had Swim Squad and then my friend Cat came over with a birthday breakfast croissant.
In the clip shared with her 222,000 Instagram followers, Laura added: “I am in town now to go to a restaurant that has been voted as one of the top in the world so I’m very excited to try that.”
Laura captioned the post: “Thank you for all your lovely messages – I am feeling very spoilt.”
Laura has been busy professionally this past week in the lead up to her birthday celebrations. Another episode of A Place in the Sun aired on Monday, which saw her help Anthony and Mo find their dream home in Torremolinos.
She has also shared updates from her renovation projects in Spain and the UK. She said: “I’ve been spending a bit of time working on lots of property stuff recently.
“Both with my overseas renovation project in Mallorca @mypropertyabroad and at home in the UK. I’ve been looking through some of my renovation projects over the years and ‘Lord Roberts on The Green’ was one of the biggest projects to date…
She added: “It was a commercial and residential development with a shop, a 2 bed flat and a 3 bed house. I became the local post mistress, along side 8 other amazing women, started and built a coffee shop/bistro business and then recruited 24 staff in the community to run it… the team were incredible!
