Ella Rae Wise didn’t mince her words about Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa’s friendship during her post-eviction chat with Will Best and AJ Odudu on Celebrity Big Brother. The TOWIE star, who was the second to leave in tonight’s dramatic triple eviction, had previously accused Chris of “using” his housemate JoJo Siwa.
Reflecting on her time in the house, Ella remarked: “I just feel like he never took the time out to get to know me as a person. At the end of the day it is what it is.”
She also revealed: “I had a bit of outside information before I came into the house,” which led her to believe Chris would be more open to getting to know her. Despite this, Ella nominated Chris for eviction, citing advice she’d received that he “likes to play a massive game”.
Discussing Chris and JoJo’s bond upon her exit, Ella expressed: “I don’t think I was bothered, I think I can spot someone when they know what they’re doing and that they know what they’re going to gain from someone. JoJo’s a young girl and being in the industry I know about ‘latch ons’ and when someone’s trying to gain something from someone.”
But she admitted: “As time goes by it’s hard to say that it isn’t genuine because at the end of the day I wasn’t in both their pockets.”
As Will said they were in each other’s pockets, Ella claimed: “And they were in each other’s beds every now and then apparently!”
Some fans, however, were unimpressed with her comments, with one taking to X to express their confusion: “So Ella apparently felt protective over JoJo… but said this after making a snarky comment over her and Chris being in bed together?? So are you protecting her or trying to stir s*** ?? #CBBUK” #CBBLL #CBB.”
The reality star received a warning from former Olympian Daley Thompson too. Ella shared with Donna Preston and Danny Beard: “Daley just basically said that you’ve got to be careful. There are two reality stars in here that do reality every single day.
“He said they know what they’re doing, if they pair up, they’re going to take a lot of air time from people. And it’s going to be very fixated on them both. And just to be mindful.”
Not stopping there, Ella weighed in with her own perspective: “I just felt, and this is my personal opinion, there are social climbers in this industry, and I think he would benefit a hell of a lot off her.”
However, feeling targeted, Chris clapped back at Ella, accusing her of jealousy due to his easy rapport with JoJo.
Monday night’s fiery episode of the hit reality show saw tensions skyrocket during the face-to-face nominations. Ella pointed the finger at Chris, stating the reason for her choice was because she heard he “likes to play a massive game” and “comes into things with a game plan”.
In a dramatic turn, Chris and JoJo singled out Ella for her nomination, criticising her for the way she would “throw her toys out the pram” when refusing house tasks. The criticism proved too much for Ella, who ended up leaving the room in a flood of tears.
