Stacey Solomon challenges Joe Swash in intense therapy session as they address issues in their marriage.

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash are set for a fiery encounter in the next episode of their new BBC reality series, where a therapy session seems to get tense.

The lovebirds debuted their show, Stacey & Joe, on BBC One this April, and with a six-part series running, we’re getting an inside look at their relationship dynamics.

In a sneak peek of the episode airing on 29 April, the atmosphere heats up as they dive into couples therapy.

In the revealing clip, Stacey, 35, confronts her hubby, stating: “You fail to recognise anything that I’m saying to you.”

Joe, 43, claps back with frustration, retorting: “I’ve heard nothing but negative stuff.”

The teaser follows a candid moment from Joe in the latest episode, broadcast on 22 April, discussing his hesitation over therapy while chatting with his sisters, Shana and Casie, reports the Mirror.

Joe opened up about committing to therapy despite not being thrilled: “I told you I was going to do it. It’s just, I’m not looking forward to that bit, you know what I mean? I’m on the journey now, so I just need to stick to it,” he confessed, hoping for positive changes ahead.

The series hasn’t shied away from giving viewers a raw and unfiltered view of Stacey and Joe’s lively family life in Essex, alongside their combined brood of six kids.

Their down-to-earth approach means we’ve seen it all – from squabbles over who does what with the kids to their forthright differences on parenting styles.

In one fiery scene, Stacey and Joe had a spat after Joe let the kids eat baked beans on the couch, leaving a mess for Stacey to deal with.

Stacey couldn’t hide her frustration, venting: “Wow. The argument was I came home and thought I’m going to tidy the front room because the front room is a sh**hole and all over my sofa was beans!” after spotting “10 baked beans” squashed into the sofa.

Joe boldly stood his ground, hitting back at Stacey: “I’m not you! You go on as if you’ve never ever given those kids food in the front room, which would be a lie!”

Going further, Joe brushed off Stacey’s vexation as an overreaction and even called her “out of order” justifying himself by noting that he’d been “spent the day looking after the kids.”

The tense exchange, unfolding during a phone call, escalated until Joe abruptly hung up, leaving Stacey to tearfully confide to the camera that the bean debacle was merely the “icing on the cake” atop the pile of tasks she faces, “go around and pick up” regularly.
